313 Application of Uniform Design in Optimizing Properties of Polyurethane Coatings

The main factors which have significant effects on the properties of two package acrylic polyurethane coating were investigated by using Uniform Design experimental method,and the regression analysis and multi-aim optimization calculation were used in the data analysis of experimental results. The suitable valuation range of the four parameters as glass transition temperature,concentration of OH group,molecular weight and the molar ratio of NCO/OH, were confirmed. On the basis of those studies,a kind of two-package acrylic polyurethane coating with excellent performance,such as excellent weatherability and thermal stability,etc,were manufactured.

319 Study on Melting and Crystallization Behaviorof PET-PTMG Poly(ether-ester)

Poly(ether-ester)s based on poly(ethylene terephthalate)poly(tetramethylene glycol) (PET-PTMG) were synthesized by melt polycondensation. The melting and crystallization behavior PET-PTMG poly(ether-ester) were measured by DSC and polarizing optical microscope. The effect of poly(ether-ester) composition on its melting temperature,crystallization temperature,crystalinity and crystal morphology was discussed. Results showed that the melting temperatures of poly(ether-ester) are well correlated to composition by Baur's equation. Poly(ether-ester) possess a two-phase morphology consisting of crystalline and amorphous regions.

324 Preparation of MTBE by SlurryCatalytic Distillation New Process

In this paper,a new catalytic distillation process of methanal hydration reaction catalyzed by ion exchange resin as a model reaction was studied.The catalyst is fine particles of about 4μm in diameter and forms slurry with feed.Then it is fed into a packed distillation column reactor.The effects of catalyst concentration,reaction temperature and pressure,feed concentration were experimentally investigated.The results indicate that the new process may operate steadily and methanal conversion was up to 99.7% in experimental condition.

329 Study on Preparation of Silicone Rubber-Hydrogel Semi-IPN Membrane

The semi-interpenetrating polymer network membrane based on silicone rubber and hydrogel was prepared via swelling the crosslinked polyvinylmethylsioxane in 2-hydroxy ethyl methacrylate monomer solution and then in-situ polymerization of the monomer.The morphology on the cross section of the membrane was observed by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) was used to investigate the surface structure of the membrane.The swelling property and drug delivery behavior of this membrane were also tested in physiological saline.The results show that this membrane can swell in water,hence it is considerably permeable to low molecular weight drugs.

333 Synthesis of Ethyl 3-hydroxybutyrate by Dehydration

Preparation of ethyl 3-hydroxybutyrate from 3-hydroxybutyric acid and ethanol was studied.Reaction was carried out in a Soxhlet extracting set,with paratoluenesulfonic acid as catalyst and CaO,molecular sieve type 3A or MgSO_4 as dehydrating agent.Various reaction parameters were also examined.Experimental results showed that the productivity of ethyl 3-hydroxybutyrate was obviously improved by adding dehydrating agent and water carrier in the reaction system.The productivity of ethyl 3-hydroxybutyrate could be attained 96.6% under the following optimum conditions:3-hydroxybutyric acid 0.1mol,ethanol 0.12mol,paratoluenesulfonic acid (0.717 5g),cyclohexane 50mL,CaO18.7g and reaction time 3h.

The solubility of Ceftriaxone sodium in acetone-water solvent in different temperature has been measured by using gravimetric method.And the data of solubility is obtained through regression of solubility model——the equation of λh.The metastable zone for crystallization of Ceftriaxone sodium in acetone-water solvent in different tempreature was studied by laser method.This study aims at supplying valuable thermodynamics data for industrial manufacture of Ceftriaxone sodium.

342 Experimental Study on the Separation of Isopropanol andWater by Adsorptive Distillation

The separation of isopropanol-water mixture was experimentally studied by the hybrid separation process——adsorptive distillation.The fine powder of 4A molecular sieve was selectd as absorbent and glycol as liquid carrier of the powder.Under the following experimented conditions,feed composition is 85%;recycling ratio is 2∶1;reflux ratio is 1∶1 and solid content is 15kg/m~3,the purity and yield of isopropanol (IPA) is up to 99.7% and 95.3% respectively.

347 Synthesis of Morpholine Derivatives

The synthesis of morpholine derivatives was investigated in this paper,particularly,synthetic technology of N-methylmorpholine from morpholine,formaldehyde and formic acid,N-methylmorpholine was isolated in the yield of 92%.The technology for production of N-methylmorpholine oxide was established in this paper.Synthesis of moclobimide and N-(2-aminoethyl) morpholine,an intermidiate of moclobimide,was also examined.

355 Study on Properties of Self-Assembly of Ionic-Nonionic Mixed Surfactants in Aqueous Solution

Self-assembly properties of surfactants play important roles in the biomimetic synthesis,which used surfactants as templates.The mixed surfactants exhibit many novel features which have important theoretical and applied interest.It is time-consuming and highly expensive to determine the optimal self-assembles from surfactants mixtures only through experimental observations.In this article,a model for self-assembly of an ionic-nonionic mixed surfactant is established based on thermodynamic principles,which involves free energy changes of micelle mixtures.In comparison with references data and experiment results,it is indicated that the esablished model can used to well estimate the regulations of the mixed ionic-nonionic system,such as the mixed CMC,the micelle compositions and so on.

406 Effect of Microstructure on Mechanical Properties of Polymer Blends

In this article,the effect of microstructure on mechanical properties of blends was studied using polypropylene/polyamide-1010(PP/PA1010) as model blends,and predicted blends tensile strength with micromechnical models.The ratio of average chord lengths of the two phases (L1/L2) and mass center distance (D) were used to characterize blends microstructure.Tensile strength was found to decline with increase of the ratio of average chord lengths of the two phases (L1/L2) and mass center distance (D).The minimum fraction of dispersed phase calculated was found close to the phase inversion region determined by observing the blend morphologies.In compatibilized system,the theoretical value was found to be very close to the experimental data due to the improved interface adhension.

A group topologic space method for estimating enthalpies of vaporization at normal boiling points for organic compounds has been proposed.Expression for estimating enthalpy of vaporization at boiling point has been proposed,with the numerical values of relative group parameters presented.The average percent deviation of estimation of the enthalpy of vaporization at boiling points is 1.052,comparing with the common used methods,our proposed method shows high accuracy and reliability.

Cefoperazone sodium is an antibiotic of the third cephalosporin,and of an important status.The needle-like crystal of CPZ can be gained by solvent out crystallization.In this paper,the primary nucleation induction period of this kind crystallization method was studied.Firstly,the solubility of CPZ in different temperature and acetone concentration were measured.Then,according to the solubility,the induction periods were measured in different S,and the effect of acetone concentration on the induction period was discussed.In addition,the induction period in the presence of ultrasonic was determined and experimental evidences showed that ultrasonic can has it reduced.

425 Catalytic Behavior of Fluidized-Bed Catalystfor Oxidation of n-Butane to Maleic Anhydride

The effects of orthophosphoric acid concentration in precursor preparation on the catalyst behavior have been studied.For the catalysts prepared at higher concentrations of acid,the quantity of V~(4+) phase (VO)_2P_2O_7 is quite large,and the n-butane conversions are all considerably high.With decreasing the acid concentration in precursor preparation,the relative amount of V~(5+) phase δ-VOPO_4 and the n-butane conversion increase continuously,whereas the selectivity to MA increases at beginning and then decreases after it reaches a maximum value.The catalyst prepared at the acid concentration of 95.0% gave the maximum yield of MA of 45.49% at an inlet n-butane concentration of 4.0% and a space velocity of 500h~(-1).

429 Study on the Purification of Nerol and Geraniol by Vacuum Batch Distillation

Nerol and geraniol are important fragrant additives widely used in many areas.Both of them are temperature sensitive materials and the difference of the boiling point between them is 2℃ only.Vacuum batch distillation may be preferable for processing temperature-sensitive materials.In the previous study on the purification of nerol and geraniol by vacuum batch distillation,the temperature of still pot was high,the period of experiment was too long and yield was small(46%) though distillate of nerol's purity above 90% were gained.Distillation at lower pressure results in lower temperature of still pot and higher relative volatility,and operation for a constant product of composition at the column top is mostly applied to separate batches of binaries.In this paper,the effects of operational conditions such as time of total reflux,reflux ratio pressure on the purity of nerol and geraniol are investigated.This research chooses following experimental conditions of distillation:600 to 700Pa operational pressure,temperature of still pot at about 152℃,top temperature at about 80℃,5.5h to 6h time of total reflux,reflux radio varying from 20/1 to 5/1,and (4 800) to (4 900)Pa pressure drop of column.By one-pass distillation operation under the condition described above,nerol and geraniol were gained with yield up to 65% and purity above 90%.The experimental results provided an important basis for technique innovation in factories,for the total cycle time is adoptable and the process is steady without thermal decomposition.

434 Synthesis and Characterization of Macromonomer Prepared by the Reaction of Polyether with Maleic Anhydride

The structure of macromonomer (MM)synthesized by reacting polyether polyol with maleic anhydride(MA) was characterized with GPC,(()~1H)-NMR and double-bond titration.The results indicated that,besides the reaction of polyether with MA,the procedure also involved many chemical reactions including double-bond isomerization and double-bond addition.For double-bond addition,the molecular weight of MM increased,and the content of double-bond became less.Reaction temperature palyed an important role on the properities of MM which,including the content of double-bond,double-bond isomerization and molecular weight,resulted in the stability.At 120 ℃,the stability of MM was best.

438 Synthesis of Quaternary Ammonium Salt of Chitosan and Its Flocculation on Tannin

A water soluble chitosan derivative with quaternary ammonium salt,N-(2-hydroxypropyltrimethyl ammonium) chitosan chloride(HTCC) was prepared.IR spectra revealed that the substitution reaction occured mainly on the amine groups of chitosan.Flocculation of HTCC on tannin,one of the main foreign matter in herb extraction liquid was explored.The result showed that HTCC has stronger coagulating ability than that of chitosan on removing tannin.Moreover,HTCC has a wide of dosage application range,which is favorable for industrial application.

443 Lipase-Catalyzed Synthesis of L-Ascorbyl Palmitate in Non-aqueous Phase

Lipase-catalyzed synthesis of L-ascorbyl palmitate in non-aqueous phase was studied in this paper.The appropriate lipase and non-aqueous medium were obtained,and several factors which effect the reaction were studied.The results show that the optimum reaction conditions are:the Lipase of Novozyme 435 and tert-butyl alcohol are the optimum pair,the molar ratio of palmitic acid/Vc is 3/1,the reaction temperature is 59℃,the reaction time is about 50h,the content of Novozyme 435 is 10g·L~(-1),and the purity of L-AP is up to 95% after purified.

447 Preparation and Some Properties of Egg Yolk ImmunoglobulinY(IgY) Against Influenza Virus

Influenza virus was used as antigen to immunize laying chicken.The immunized egg yolks were isolate by two-step salt outing and one-step gel filtration methods to obtain purified IgY,of which purity is over 95% by SDS-PAGE analysis.The purified IgY was digested with pepsin (pH=4,37℃) to obtain smaller antibody Fab.The reaction activities of IgY and Fab was analyzed comparatively by competitive ELISA method,which shows digested IgY remaining about 70% of initial activity.

455 Study on the Synthesis of 2-Benzyl-4-Chloro-Phenol

2-Benzyl-4-chlorophenol is an excellent disinfectant.4-Chloro-phenol and benzyl chloride were stirred and heated at the presence of ferric trichloride as the catalyst.2-Benzyl-4-chloro-phenol was obtained.The yield is between 77% and 78%.The purity of the product by two-step distillation is 97.78%,mp:43.43℃~46.10℃.The factors affecting the yield were studied,and the optimally selected parameters were obtained.The products were analyzed with HPLC and IR.

467 Synthesis of Methyl 4-Bromo-2-Butynoate

Propargyl alcohol was protected by dihydrophran with the catalysis of PPTS,and then reacted with Ethyl Mag bromide to prepare its corresponding Grignard reagent.Methyl 4-hydroxy-2-butynoate THP ether was obtained after reacting with methylchloroformate.Deprotection proceeded with the catalysis of PPTS,followed by mesylization and bromide displacement with sodium bromide to give methyl 4-bromo-2-butynoate.The overall yield was 53%.

470 The Mechanism and the Conditions of Controlling in Multi-component Granulation

With the development of industry and agriculture,the technology of multi-component granule has been applied in many fields,such as food,pharmaceutical and fertilizers industry.Research in the mechanism and optimize the condition of controlling of multi-component granulation are needed to meet the necessity of production.The mechanisms of multi-component,especially the influences of binder on the product and the process of granulation were reviewed and the conditions of controlling were compared and predicted.

475 Application of Reverse Micelles in Supercritical Carbon Dioxide Extraction

Supercritical extraction has become very popular in recent years.Supercritical carbon dioxide can be used as a replacer for organic solvents,which enables the development of green processes.However it is a very poor solvent for high molecular weight,hydrophilic molecules.and metal ions.By using reverse micelles to solve this problem,a wide variety of novel processes can be developed.A review of reverse micelles in supercritical carbon dioxide system is presented in this paper including the principles and application,especially in supercritical carbon dioxide extraction.

Various reactions that graft polymers onto the surface of inorganic oxide nanoparticles,such as the copolymerization of a monomer with an immobilized double bond at the surface of nanoparticles,the reaction between reactive polymer and the groups of the surface of nanoparticles,the termination of living polymer on the surface of nanoparticles and the graft polymerization initiated by the groups of nanoparticles were reviewed and evaluated briefly.The research of dendrimer was introduced.

The current development of the isobutene/butene alkylation catalysts has been introduced.The study situation of the alternative solid catalysts,i.e.solid superacid catalysts,zeolites and heteropolyacids,is emphasized.The preparation,selectivity,activity of the SO~(2-)_4/M_xO_y,MCM-41,heteropolyacids are mainly discussed in the paper.Finally,the problem of the solid acids catalysts and the future of the alkylation catalysts are also discussed.

As gas-sensing materials,iron oxide nanoparticles are paid much attention.The widely used preparations of the iron oxide nanoparticles in recent years such as sol-gel method,coprecipitation method,hydrothermal method,hydrolysis method are expounded and evaluated.After being doped different substance,the special gas-sensing properties of particles have been shown.The different sintering process of the gas-sensing components based on iron oxide has been compared.

7-aminocephalosporanic acid(7-ACA),a critical intermediates in the production of semisynthetic cephalosporanic antitiotics,plays an important role in the medical field.The research of praparation and crystallization processes of 7-ACA were reviewed.There are two kinds of methods for preparing 7-ACA,that is chemical cleavage and enzymic method.The cleavage and two-step enzymic method were introduced in detail.The crystallization process of 7-ACA was discussed too.The research direction of the preparation and crystallization process of 7-ACA has been predicted.

There are some technical difficulties in the industrial synthesis of 1,3,5-benzenetriol,a costly important intermediate.Research progress of the synthesis was reviewed,followed by the analysis of yield,technology and industrial feasibility.Several industrial technology routes using cumene/benezene,2,4,6-trinitrotoluene,chlorobenzene and aniline respectively as a resource to produce 1,3,5-benzenetriol were recommended.

517 Discussion of the Technology Using Air to Oxidize Nitric Oxide

This paper aims at the technology of disposing the nitrogen oxides in industrial flue gas,and discusses the methods to oxidize the nitric oxide.The main technical characteristics of these methods are compared with each other.The possibility that using air as oxidizing agent has been emphatically analyzed.The conclusion proves that oxidizing nitric oxide with air is economical and has a splendid future at application.

522 Progress of Microorganisms in Bioorganic Fertilizer Production

Fermentative microorganisms and mixed functional microorganisms are two important microorganisms,which can be used in the production of bioorganic fertilizer extensively.This paper reviews the progress of studies on the use of microorganisms in bioorganic fertilizer production.Because the solid organic waste is complicated,at the same time,the demands of preserving the nutrition and deodorizing are concerned,the fermentative microorganism has developed from single microbe to microorganisms.When we produce the bioorganic fertilizer with the fermented solid organic waste,some functional microbe such as nitrogen-fixing bacteria,phosphate-solubilizing bacteria and so on,can be added into material to meet the functional demands of the fertilizer.The paper points out that the form and function of the microorganisms will develop from singleness to multiformity in future.

527 Extraction Essential Oil from the Residue of Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil by Water Solvent Distillation

This paper discussed a method-water solvent distillation to get the essential oil from the residue of eucalyptus leaf oil.In this way the decomposing of terpinyl acetate was avoided and the content of terpinyl acetate was 6.234%,the main content of α-terpineol was 30.409%. At the same time agglomerating was eliminated.
