Abstract Various reactions that graft polymers onto the surface of inorganic oxide nanoparticles,such as the copolymerization of a monomer with an immobilized double bond at the surface of nanoparticles,the reaction between reactive polymer and the groups of the surface of nanoparticles,the termination of living polymer on the surface of nanoparticles and the graft polymerization initiated by the groups of nanoparticles were reviewed and evaluated briefly.The research of dendrimer was introduced.
