407 Solid-Phase Synthesis of Thymopentin Using Fmoc-Based Strategy

Thymopentin(TP-5) has been synthesized by solid-phase method,and determined by reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography and mass spectrum.The standard curve of TP-5 has been drawn,and used as a method to exactly analyze the purity of crude TP-5.The influence of different coupling solvents,coupling reagents and cleavage conditions on the purity of TP-5 is reviewed.The optimized protocol is ascertained:DMF is used as the coupling solvent;HATU as the coupling reagent;and TFA∶p-methyl phenol∶EDT∶H_2O=97∶0.25∶0.25∶2.5 as the cleavage condition.Under this condition,the final purity of crude TP-5 reached 80.34%.

411 Electrochemical Study on Characteristics of Ferrate(Ⅵ) Ion in KOH Solution

Techniques of chronoamperometry and cyclic voltammetry were employed to study the electro-reduction and diffusion behavior of ferrate(Ⅵ) ion in different concentration of KOH solution at different temperature.Diffusion coefficient of ferrate(Ⅵ) ion could be calculated.The impact of the mass transfer of ferrate(Ⅵ) ion in electrolyte on the super-iron battery in discharge has also been discussed.In addition,the experimental results of cyclic voltammetry indicated that the electro-reduction of ferrate(Ⅵ) ion involves more than one step.

415 Effect of Crystallization Processes on Granularity Distribution of Antioxidant 1010

The antioxidant 1010 has been prepared with mixture of methanol,ethanol,low carbon alcohol and distilled water as solvent in laboratory.Effects of seed,stirring velocity curve,cooling speed and washing-up on granularity distribution of antioxidant 1010 have been studied.The results showed that the feasible seeds quantity inputted is 0.8%—1.0% of solute,temperature of seeds inputted is 56 ℃—60 ℃,stirring velocity is about 400 r/min—500 r/min.The crystalline in this crystallization technics is determined as δ with the help of X-ray diffraction.

419 Application of Chitosan-Polyanion Complexes Flocculant

Chitosan-polyanion complexes are used as coagulants for treating the extraction liquid of Carthamus tinctorius L.FT-IR analyses show electrostatic interaction between the chitosan-NH~+_3 and Carrageenan-SO~-_3 group is responsible for complex formation.The factors affect the coagulation efficiency are discussed such as the complexes of different polycation-polyanion and their complex type,complex ratio etc.The flocculation experiment shows that the coagulation efficiency was improved significantly by the complex of chitosan-Carrageenan.

422 Separating Benzene and Cyclohexane by Batch Extractive Distillation

The batch extractive distillation experiment for separating benzene and cyclohexane was carried out with N,N-dimethylformide(DMF),dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO) and their mixture as extractive solvent.The influence of solvent flow rate and reflux ratio on the experimental result were studied.The experiment showed that the separation effect was improved with the increase of solvent flow rate and the reflux ratio.All the three extractive solvent can separate this mixture and the best one was DMF∶DMSO=3∶1,the better one was DMF.The optimal operation condition was obtained with mixture DMF∶DMSO=3∶1 as extractive solvent,the solvent flow rate being 12.33 mL/min,the reflux ratio being 4,the purity and yield of cyclohexane were up to 86.98% and 83.10% respectively.

427 Synthesis of N-phenyl Maleimide by Decompressed Azeotropic Method

N-phenyl maleimide was synthesized from maleic anhydride and aniline.Decompressed azeotropic method,a totally new method for the preparation of N-phenyl maleimide(N-PMI),is developed on the basis of acetic anhydride method and atmospheric azeotropic method.The reaction is carried out in the presence of orthophosphoric acid,with the yield of NPMI above 85%,and the purity of product above 95%.

430 Optimization of Fluorination Reaction in the Preparation of Dexamethasone Acetate

Fluorination reaction,a key process in the preparation of Dexamethasone acetate,is optimized and the optimum conditions are obtained.The ratio of raw material to HF-DMF is 5.5∶1.0,the concentration of HF-DMF is 0.6 g/mL,reaction temperature is(-3 ℃)—(-5 ℃) and recrystallization solvent is acetone.Under the above optimum reaction conditions,the yields of crude and purified products reach 101.0% and 75.6% respectively.The purity of Dexamethasone acetate is above 98.5%.

434 Synthesis of Dibiphenol A Pentaerythritol Diphosphite

Dibiphenol A pentaerythritol diphosphite was synthesized by using pentaerythritol,phosphorus trichloride and bisphenol A as raw material.The effects of reaction solvent,reaction time and molar ratio of the raw material on yields were analyzed.The experimental results show that the optimum conditions were as follows:molar ratio of pentaerythritol to phosphorus trichloride to bisphenol A was 1.0∶2.8∶2.0,the first and the second reaction held for about 3 h on the conditions of refluxing.The product,under this conditions,was a white flour solid and the melting point was 146 ℃—148 ℃,the yield of the product was about 93%.Elemental analysis,IR,and(()~1HNMR) were performed to characterize the structure of the product.

This paper reviews the recent research and application of the support material for the immobilization of penicillin acylase(PA).Attention is concentrated on the structure and PA immobilized on four kinds of materials:polymers with oxirane groups and functional polymers,ion layer material and mesoporous molecular sieves as well as delaminated zeolitic material.The direction and trend on the support material of immobilizing enzyme in recent years are also reviewed.

456 Progress of Additives for Wet FGD Process

Adding an condign additive to the wet FGD system could not only increase SO_2 removal efficiency and utilization of sorbent,but also buffer pH fluctuation of slurry and increase system flexibility.In this paper the progress of additives for wet FGD process in the world was introduced.According to the experimental results adipic acid plus sodium chloride appear to be one of the most promising additives among the numerous inorganic and organic compound additives.

467 Hydrogen Generation by Using Hydrolysis of Sodium Borohydride

A safe,simple,compact process generating high-purity of hydrogen gas on demand from base-stabilized,aqueous solutions of sodium borohydride(NaBH_4) is proposed.When NaBH_4 solution reacts with the catalysts,it spontaneously hydrolyzes to form hydrogen gas and sodium borate,a water-soluble inert salt.Using aqueous solutions of sodium borohydride can reduce the dangers of H_2 stored for a long time.In this reaction,the hydrogen generation rate can be easily controlled,and the hydrogen gas is very pure and needn't refine.The catalysts can be circularly used.Furthermore,hydrogen gas can be produced under(0 ℃) and no pollution to environment.Also the catalysts and generators designed in author's laboratory are introduced,experiments show the catalysts are cheap,and the generators are safe and easily controlled.

472 Development of Aromatization of Isophorone to 3,5-Xylenol

3,5-xylenol is an important medical intermediate.Recent method of synthesizing 3,5-xylenol is sulpho alkaline fusion of dimethylbenzene,it is a very complicated procedure with serious pollution and low-pure products.Compared with traditional way,catalytic aromatization of isophorone has been proved to have many advantages.Furthermore,two synthesising routes are compared and the research of catalytic aromatization of isophorone is summarized in this paper.

487 Quantitative Determination of Uronic Acid in MCP

A method for the determination of galacturonic acid in MCP with m-hydroxydiphenyl is used.The amount of tetraborate/H_2SO_4 and m-hydroxydiphenyl,the boiling time and the interference by neutral sugar are studied.This method can avoid the interference by neutral sugars.It is a simpler and more specific method than others.

490 Photocatalytic Degradation of Sulfur Dioxide in Different Atmospheres

The photocatalytic degradation of SO_2 has been investigated in different atmospheres.It is found that the conversion of SO_2 is influenced by O_2 more than the yield of SO_3.And the introduction of CO increases both the conversion of SO_2 and the yield of SO_3.The reaction atmosphere and the property of the catalysts are the decisive factors of the photocatalytic degradation of SO_2.
