Expansion Character and Liquid Axial Dispersion in Expanded Bed with Particles of Macro-Porous Resin
WANG Bang-chen,LIU Ming-yan
Using AB-8 resin as solid phase, the expansion character and liquid mixing performance in the expanded bed were studied. The expansion character of AB-8 resin in a 50 mm column was found to obey the Richardson-Zaki equation. At a fixed expand ratio, the axial voidage of the bed increased with the increase of bed height, with heterohomogeneous distribution. At a fixed bed height, the liquid axial dispersion coefficient increased with the increase of liquid superficial velocity.Liquid axial dispersion coefficient is 0.5×10~(-5)—(5×10~(-5) m~2/s.)

Coupling Process of 1,4-Butanediol Dehydrogenation and Maleic Anhydride Hydrogenation over Cu-Zn-Al Catalyst
ZHAO Xiao-jing,LIU Zong-zhang,JIANG Hao-xi,ZHANG Min-hua
The catalyst of Cu-Zn-Al composite oxide system was prepared by co-precipitation.XRD and TPR were used to characterize the catalyst, the influence of catalyst composition, such as Al content,Cu/Zn ratio,on catalytic performance for the coupling process was analyzed, and the optimal composition was obtained. The experiment showed that the catalyst with 20% Al and n(Cu/Zn)=0.5—2.0 have good catalytic performances. The CuO species and its occupation on the catalyst surface were the determining factors for the catalyst activity. Results of XRD,TPR and BET showed that n(Cu/Zn) is responsible for the dispersion of CuO and the surface area of catalyst. The suitable n(Cu/Zn) can improve the selectivity of catalysts.

High Solid Content and Low Viscosity Polymer Polyols by Two-Reactor Continuous Process
LIU Yong,L Shi-jun,GUO Rui-wei
High solid content polymer polyols were synthesized by two-reactor continuous process, and various operation conditions were studied. In this study,POP with 45% solid content and(4 900) mPa·s(25 ℃) viscosity was synthesized by tworeactor continuous process under the most optimized condition. The distribution of diameters of dispersion particles were studied by dynamic light scattering and SEM.The results showed that the broader distribution of diameters was gained by two-reactor continuous process than by batch process, and the mean diameter was higher than that of one-reactor,so the viscosity of POP by two-reactor continuous process was lower.

Extraction of Resveratrol from Giant knotweed with Enzymolysis-Microwave
LAN Tian-lu,ZHU Hong-ji,LI Shao-bai
To improve the extracting ratio of resveratrol from giant knotweed,a new process was developed in this paper by using cellulose and microwave. The optimum conditions of enzyme extraction and microwave extraction were obtained through orthogonal test. For the enzyme extraction, with the ratio of enzyme/giant knotweed 1∶500 at 50 ℃ for 90 min,the yield of resveratrol is two times more than that extracted by ethanol. For the microwave extraction with the ethanol content of 80%,the liquid ratio of 1∶20,extracting by microwave for 60 s at 510 W,the yield of resveratrol is three times more than that extracted by ethanol. For the enzyme-microwave extraction, the yield of resveratrol is three times more than that extracted by ethanol with enzymation 30 min by microwave for 10 s at 510 W.So the enzyme-microwave extraction can shorten the extraction time and lower the cost of production,it is an effective way to extract resveratrol from giant knotweed.

Photocatalytic Degradation of NO_x Under Visible Light Irradiation Using Fe Doped Titanium Dioxide
ZHOU Lin~
In order to utilize visible light in photocatalytic conversion of NO_x, Fe atoms were doped in commercially available photocatalytic TiO_2 powders by impregnating method. The crystal phase of TiO_2 was not changed after calcinations process.Analysis by both X-ray diffraction(XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) indicated that Fe atoms were incorporated in TiO_2 as Ti—O—Fe linkages.A significant shift of the absorption edge to a lower energy and a higher absorption in the visible light region were observed. These Fe-doped TiO_2 powders exhibited photocatalytic activity for the degradation of NO_x under visible light irradiation. The sample mixed with 0.2% Fe~(3+) and calcined at 600 ℃ for 1.0 h showed the best photocatalytic activity.

Effects of Operation Processes on the Pervaporation Performance of New PVA/PA Composite Membrane
ZHANG Pei-qin,CAI Bang-xiao
The effects of concentration of the isopropanol(IPA) in the feed and the operation condition on pervaporation(PV) separation performance of the polyvinyl alcohol and polyamide(PVA/PA) composite membrane were emphatically investigated. The forecast equations of the total permeating flux(J) of water and isopropanol were also established by the regression of experimental data.It was shown that the IPA concentration in the permeates [w′(H_2O)] gained in the full concentration of the feed or at the operation temperature of 25 ℃—100 ℃ was always less than 1.0%(weight ratio). The permeating flux increased with the decrease of the feed concentration or the increase of the operation temperature. The data from forecast equations were consistent with the test results in PV separation. The separation performances of the composite membrane operated for 90 d or stored for 120 d at ambient temperature showed stable separating characteristic. The permeating flux was 73.10 g/m~2·h,the water concentration in the permeate [w′(H_2O)] was more than 99.5% weight ratio when the PVA/PA composite membrane was used to separate azeotropic mixture of IPA/water at 80.4 ℃.The PVA/PA composite membrane will possess good application perspective in the food, biological pharmaceutical and chemical engineering industreis.
