95 Experimental Study on Size Optimization of Heat Sinks in Induction Cooker

The heat dispersion of nine different heat sinks in induction cooker had been tested,and the optimized size among broad thicknesses,fin space and fin thickness of heat sinks was found out.Based on the optimized size,the below fins were added to remanufacture the heat sinks,and the better heat dispersion of heat sink was found out.And the heat dispersion of self-made heat sinks was approved better than that of the original heat sinks by the experiment results.

101 Anoxic-Anaerobic-Aerobic Process for Municipal Wastewater Treatment

Based on the separate research on anoxic and anaerobic and aerobic process for biological nitrogen and phosphorus removal of municipal wastewater,a reversed traditional A~2/O(anaerobic/anoxic/oxic) process without inner circumfluence was developed.The experiment on removing nitrogen and phosphorus compounds was carried out under the best conditions.The results showed that the cost of the proposed process was less than that of A~2/O process and the effluent nitrogen,phosphorus and COD concentrations could meet with the first-grade discharge standard of pollutants for municipal waster treatment plant(GB 18918-2002).These can offer primary conditions for more sweeping experiment.

105 Improvement on Synthetic Technology of Bifemelane and Its Analog

A key intermediate of 2-benzylphenol was synthesized from benzyl alcohol and phenol by Claisen rearrangement reaction in the presence of activated alumina and the analog of bifemelane with new structure was prepared by etherification,amination and acidification reaction of the intermediate.The yield of 2-benzylphenol increased under the optimal synthetic route.The structure of the synthetic compounds was determined by IR,(()~1HNMR) and elementary analysis.

108 Immobilization of Aluminum Chloride on HM for Synthesis of 2,6-Diisopropylnaphthalene

Immobilization of AlCl_3 on H/mordenite(HM) had been carried out.The catalytic properties of the immobilized catalyst systems for isopropylation of naphthalene were studied and compared with the catalytic performance of AlCl_3/HM and HM. The influence of the ratio of naphthalene to isopropanol,WHSV and reaction temperature were investigated for this reaction.The optimum conditions of this reaction in fixed-bed flow reactor were obtained.Immobilization of aluminum chloride on mesoporous silica is a promising way of developing alternative catalyst system for Friedel-Crafts alkylation reactions.

112 Electronic Structure of a Novel Anti-Tumor Drug of Epothilones

Epothilones are a class of novel microtubule stabilizing agents.By quantum chemistry and molecular mechanics methods,the quantitative structure-activity relationship(QSAR) research was conducted after the optimized conformations were found.It is important for increasing the bioactivities of epothilones to revise the structure at C12 and C15 sidechain to change their dipole moment and nuclear repulsive potentials.In addition,it is favorable to increase the negative charge of O at C7 and N at thiazole in C15 sidechain for increasing the bioactivities of epothilones.

117 Preparation of Se Nanowires

The changes of temperature,the setting temperature and solvent are all important factors affecting the formation of Se nanowire.Lowering the temperature of Se solution,Se saturated in water and Se nuclei formed.The degree of the temperature lowered also influenced the formation of Se nanowire,and the temperature of cold water below 40 ℃ was good for Se nuclei fabrication.The setting temperature was another factor that affected the growth of Se nanowire.Result showed that,when the setting temperature was higher than 60 ℃,it is difficult for Se nuclei to grow into Se nanowires.Solvent also has an evident effect on Se nanowire growth and as a solvent,water is better than alcohol for the growth of Se nanowire.

121 Synthesis of Iminodisuccinic Acid and Its Chelating Ability

Iminodisuccinic acid(NH(COOHCHCH_2COOH)_2,IDS) is a green chelating agent with amino and polycarboxylic groups,which forms strong water-soluble complexes with various metal cations and is readily biodegradable.IDS was synthesized with maleic anhydride(MA),ammonia(NH_3)and NaOH in an aqueous medium.The process and principle of the synthesis were discussed.The effects of temperature,raw material ratio,reaction time on the yield product were analyzed.The better conditions were found as follows: MA∶NaOH∶NH_3∶H_2O(mol ratio)=2∶3∶2∶16,160 ℃,10.0 h.Under these conditions,up to 80.0% yield of iminodisuccinic acid was obtained.The results indicated that iminodisuccinic acid might be formed through the formation of aspartic acid as the intermediate.The chelating ability of IDS was studied and was compared with EDTA and the results showed that the chelating ability of IDS for many metals was similar to that of EDTA.

125 Antibacterial Effects of Poly(N-benzy1-4-vinylpyridinium Chloride)

Poly(N-benzyl-4-vinylpyridinium Chloride)(PVP) is new class of antibacterial molecules with high activity and low toxicity.This article describes the synthesis,purification and the antibacterial activities of PVP under various experimental conditions.The results show that the changes of the factors such as temperature,solution condition etc,have important effect on antibacterial activities of PVP.

129 Dispersion Copolymerization of Acrylamide/Cationic Monomer in Salt Aqueous Solution

The dispersion polymerization of water soluble monomers in aqueous solution is a new kind of green synthesis technology.Stable aqueous dispersions of P(AM-coDMC) by the copolymerization of acrylamide(AM) and cationic monomer(2-methacryloyloxyethyl) trimethyl ammonium chloride(DMC) in inorganic salt solution was prepared.The shapes and sizes of the particles were determined by SEM and laser particle analysis.The effects of factors,such as the structure and amount of dispersants,the composition of monomers,the nature and concentration of inorganic salts,on dispersion polymerization were studied.

134 QSPR of Critical Volumes for Organic Compounds

The quantitative structure-property relationship(QSPR) of structurally diverse organic compounds and their critical volumes was studied using molecule modeling and the stepwise selection regression method.Based on 108 compounds of a total of 121 compounds,a new critical volume model was achieved,which contained 4 molecule descriptors with S=11.80 cm~3/mol and R~2=(0.994 2).Generally,the prediction results of the new model are satisfying.The new model indicated that critical volume was strongly related with the molecular volume,the molecular shape and the electric distribution on the molecular surface. It was suggested that quantitative structure parameters or molecular descriptors can give effective prediction of the critical volume.

139 Physics and Mathematics Model of Powder Diameter Distribution in Anode Material Preparation

In this paper,the solid-state synthesis reaction of lithium secondary battery anode powders was investigated by the nonlinearity theory of different shape mathematics, the complicate mechanism at different synthesis stage was discussed by the material science and chemical-engineering theory,then the universality of different dynamic process was concluded.By the experiment data of powder diameter no-unit r,the physics-mathematics model r_(n+1)=μr_n-br~3_n about the powders diameter distribution and solid-state synthesis reaction temperature was founded,and an r judge model was proposed for the powders size distribution in process.

145 Dealumination of NaY Zeolite

The structure and acidity of NaY zeolite modified by oxalic acid and diammonium hydrogen phosphate(ADP) were studied.The acidity of NaY zeolite and dealuminated zeolite are investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometry(FTIR),ICP,and thermal analysis.The changes of the structure of the modified zeolites were studied by X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis.Both the modification techniques can reduce the acidity of NaY zeolite without any change on the structure.

150 Preparation of Zirconium Hydroxide with Huge Specific Surface Area

In this study,zirconium hydroxide samples with huge specific surface areas were prepared with sol-gel method.With BET the influences on surface areas from different preparation conditions,such as ultrasonic time,aging conditions,desiccating temperatures and reaction temperatures,were analysed systematically.The experimental results revealed that zirconium hydroxide samples with great surface areas were able to be prepared with sol-gel method,and the optimal preparation conditions were obtained:reaction temperature is 60 ℃;ultrasonic time is 15 min with a period of 1∶3;aging temperature is 60 ℃;aging time is 30 min;desiccating temperature is 100 ℃.

154 Isomerization Reaction of n-Pentane over WC Catalyst

WC catalyst was prepared by temperature-programmed reduction and was oxygen-modified on surface to do line evaluation.Results indicate that under the condition of θ=287 ℃,p=2.0 MPa,SV=1.0 h~(-1),n(H_2)/n(n-C_5)=4.0(molar ratio), conversion rate of n-pentane is 64.31%,yield of i-pentane is 61.92%,selectivety of i-pentane is 96.29% and liquid product yield is 97.64%.The catalytic activity of WC is close to that of loaded Pt,and the selectivity of WC is equivalent to that of loaded Pt catalyst.

158 Producing Red Iron Oxide from Mud Iron by SCWO

Mud iron is the waste during the production of dyestuff and its crystal is Fe_3O_4.Producing red iron oxide from mud iron by supercritical water oxidation(SCWO) was proposed in this paper.The experiment showed that the quality of product produced by SCWO before calcinating,was obviously better than that of calcinating red iron directly and the crystal of product was not affected by reaction pressure.Therefore it is feasible and potential to produce red iron oxide from mud iron by SCWO.

161 Quantitative Structure-Retention Relationships for Alkane and Its Derivatives Based on Electrotopological State Index and Molecule Shape Index

Quantitative structure-property relationships(QSPR) have been demonstrated to be a powerful tool in chromatography and used to obtain simple models to explain and predict the chromatographic behavior of various classes of compounds.On the basis of the characteristics of atomic types in molecule,Hall's electrotopological state indices(E_n) and Kier's molecule shape index((()~mK)) are calculated for 117 alkanes,cyclanes,aliphatic alcohol,aliphatic ketones.(()~mK) and E_n are developed for research on gas chromatography retention indices(R.I.) of such compounds.With this,4 satisfactory relationships between R.I.and E_n,(()~mK) are abtained by using Stepwise and Partial Least Squares(PLS),and the bivariate correlation coefficients are more than 0.991.The calculated values were in good agreement with experimental data and favorable with literature data.These models can better elucidate the change rules of gas chromatography retention indices for such compounds.

169 Mass Transferring Model of Wet Limestone Desulfurization

Wet limestone flue gas desulfurization is the most common method in controlling SO_2 emission.A single limestone particle was chosen as object.Based on film theory,a mass transfer model of alkaline solution desulfurization was found,and then matlab was used to simulate.Through theory analysis of SO_2 in gas phase mass transfer and diffuse to liquid phase,the dissolution and diffusion of limestone and reaction taking place in the liquid,a series of hypothetic conditions were brought forward and a mass transfer model was found.The model can deduce the velocity of mass transfer.The results showed that the conclusions predicted by the model were in good agreement with those by experiment and the coincidental degree is 97%.This can offer the theory reference for studying the mechanism of wet desulfurization.

In this paper,the recent progresses in various oxidation technologies for oxidation of glucose to gluconic acid were introduced.The principle,advantages and disadvantages of the oxidation technologies were discussed.The oxidation technologies of biochemical fermentation and heterogeneous catalytic oxidation used widely and developed rapidly in industry were focused on.The deactivation and preparation of catalysts for the heterogeneous catalytic oxidation to produce gluconic acid were presented.

The progress in FCC stripper,including the flowing behavior of gas-solid in baffles stripper,annular stripper and packing stripper,was introduced.The characterization of gas-solid flowing in the annular stripper and packing stripper were introduced,and the reason they were prior to baffles stripper was given.Due to reducing coke burning amount at high catalyst flux,packing stripper was fit for oil becoming heavier and olefin producing via FCC.

187 Composite Enzymatic Extraction of Salvianolic Acid B

Using HPLC technology,comparison of salvianolic acid B(SA-B) extraction rate between enzymatic extraction and boiling-water extraction were analyzed. The optimal conditions of composite enzymatic extraction were:15 U cellulase per gram medical materials;temperature 50 ℃;pH,4.5;time of enzymatic extraction,6 h;time of boiling-water extraction,50 min.SA-B extraction rate was significantly increased in the process of composite enzymatic extraction.
