1 Preparation of High Solid Content Styrene-Acrylate Microemulsion

The styrene-acrylate microemulsion was synthesized by seeded semi-continuous microemulsion polymerization,with styrene(St),butylacrylate(BA) and acrylic acid(AA) as copolymerization monomers,octylphenol polyethoxylate and sodium dodecyl sulfate as emulsifiers,and potassium persulfate as initiator.The effects of emulsifiers,initiator,AA and certain electrolyte on the stability of polymerization,the particle sizes and distribution were analyzed,the optimized condition of the polymerization was determined.The microemulsion with solid content of 48% was obtained and the particle sizes were ranged 60~70 nm.

5 Structure of Immobilized Aminoacylase and Its Application in Resolution

The structure of macroporous weakly basic anion resin(DEAE-D/H) with immobilized aminoacylase was analyzed by environmental scanning electron microscope.The result showed the specific activity of DEAE-D/H with immobilized aminoacylase was up to(1 400) U/g.The retention time was measured in packed bed reactor for the resolution of N-acety-methionie,and the liquid flow was continuous stirred.The conversion of L-methionine at the volumetric flow rate below 25 mL/h was nearly 100%.The immobilized aminoacylase was prepared with high stability of continuous operation and storage.

9 Na-NH_4~+ Ion Exchange Characteristic of Inorganic Ion Exchanger

Inorganic ion exchangers were produced from natural zeolite and its adsorption isotherm curve was protracted and its cation exchange capacity was also measured.Adsorption kinetic curves of NH~+_4 on Mesolit were employed to obtain the equilibrium adsorption time.The results showed inorganic ion exchanger had the highest cation exchange capacity of 50 mg/g at normal temperature when Improver A was used as modified material and natural zeolite and Improver A were mixed with a ratio of 4∶1,the equilibrium adsorption time was 2 h.

12 Catalytic Synthesis of Glyceryl Triacetate with Sodium Bisulfate

As a kind of widely used fine chemical,glyceryl triacetate was synthesized by esterification of glycerin with acetic acid.Effects of catalyst dosage,kind of water carrier,ratio of raw material and reaction time were investigated.The optimum condition of reaction was found: as catalyst,NaHSO_4·H_2O is 4.0% of the total weight of material;as water carrier,toluene is 1.0 time of the weight of glycerin;the mole ratio of acetic acid to glycerin is 5.0,the reaction time is 8 h,the yield of glyceryl triacetate is 84.5%(the rate of esterification is 97.3%).The physical property and the structure of product were characterized by IR and elementary analysis.

15 Kaolin-Support for Ammonia Decomposition Reaction

In order to broaden the application of Kaolin in chemical field,the possibility of Kaolin to be used as support for ammonia decomposition was discussed.According to orthogonal experimental design,major factors were fixed in the preparation of Kaolin-support,then the optimal conditions were fixed.The catalyst of Ni oxide supported by Kaolin was tested for ammonia decomposition reaction,and was compared with industrial MgO.The results indicated that Kaolin-support was equal to industrial MgO-support.Therefore,it was possible that Kaolin-support substituted industrial MgO-support for ammonia decomposition reaction.

18 Palladium(Ⅱ)-Catalyzed Allylic Rearrangement Reaction

In this paper,palladium(Ⅱ)-catalyzed allylic rearrangement reaction was described.A series of allylic alcohols were treated with tosyl isocyanate to afford allylic N-tosyl carbamates as the substrates.To optimize the reaction conditions,the main factors were widely discussed.The results showed: conditions will be controlled more strictly if the structure of substrate is more complicated;the amount of catalyst doesn't impact the reaction very much;halide salt is necessary and should be excessive;base doesn't impact the reaction;THF,1,4-dioxane,DMF will be the preferred solvents orderly when the reactive temperature increases; the reactive temperature rises with the increase of the structure of substrate.

23 Preparation of Pt-SnO_2/C Complex Catalysts andIts Electrooxidation Performance to Ethanol

In this paper,a series of complex catalysts of Pt-SnO_2/C were prepared using sol-gel method and the preparation process was optimized.XRD,FETEM and the electrochemical measurements were used to characterize the prepared catalysts.The results of XRD and FETEM indicated the average size of the catalyst particles was 4 nm—20 nm.CV and EIS were used to test the electrocatalytic activity in the solution of ethanol.These catalysts possess high stability and electrocatalytic activity during the electrooxidation of ethanol,and the electrocatalytic activity was higher than that of Pt/C.

28 Membrane Pollution and Cleaning Method in Concentration of 2-keto-L-gulonic Acid Using Nonafiltration

The reason of membrane pollution in nanofiltrate-concentration of 2-keto-L-gulonic acid was analysed.Chemical cleaning agent for nanofiltrate membrane was chosen and the effect of the kinds of cleaning agent on recovering ratio of membrane flux was examined.SEM was used to analyse the cleaning efficiency qualitatively.Results showed the recovering ratio of flux was 97.8% when cleaning agent S-001 was chosen.

32 Immobilization and Desulfurating Performance of Desulfurated Bacteria H-412

Immobilization and desulfurating performance of desulfurated bacteria H-412 were discussed with alginate,polyvinylalcohol and SiO_2 as carrier,and the optimal condition of preparing immobilized bacteria from immobilization desulfurization bacteria was obtained.Experiment result showed the intension of immobilized spherule was improved when suitable amounts of polyvinylalcohol and SiO_2 were added.The desulfurating performance of immobilized bacteria was better than free bacteria in oil desulfurization with high O/W.When mass ratio of oil to water was up to 2/3,the degradation rate of immobilized bacteria still remained above 60%.

36 Preparation and Characterization of PI/SiO_2-TiO_2 Nanocomposite Materials

Polyimide(PI)was prepared using ODA and BTDA as monomer by a two-stage synthesis method.PI/TiO_2-SiO_2 composite materials was successfully prepared by sol-gel method,Ti(OBu)_4 and TEOS were added into the intermediate product of polyamic acid,no water and coupler were added in the process.The structure of nanoparticles and nanocomposites were investigated by means of IR,XRD,TGA,TEM and SEM.The results indicated that nanoparticles of TiO_2 and SiO_2 were dispersed well,and the thermal stability of PI/TiO_2-SiO_2 composite materials was better than those of pure PI and PI/TiO_2 composites.

40 Application of Natural Clarifying Agent of ZTC1+1 in Purifying Polysaccharides from Mulberry Leaves

This paper aims to study the effect of natural clarifying agent of ⅡZTC1+1 on the purification of polysaccharides extracted from mulberry leaves.The content of polysaccharides in the extracts was determined by anthracenonesulphuric acid method and the optimum conditions were obtained by orthogonal experimentations.The results showed that the natural clarifying agent of Ⅱ ZTC1+1 can effectively extract polysaccharides from mulberry leaves,while some impurities were removed.The optimum experimental conditions were as follows: concentration ratio is 5∶1 mL/g;the adding amount of natural clarifying agent((i.e) B and A) to the concentrated solution are 2% and 1% respectively;the clarifying temperature is 50 ℃.Under above conditions,the retention ratio of polysaccharides was above 96%,the content of polysaccharides in the extracts was near 22% and the removal of proteins was 16%.

44 Aging Kinetics of Two Kinds of Roading Asphalt

In order to analyze the aging process of crumb tire rubber modified asphalt,the rolling thin film oven test was performed and the changes of softening point and aging temperature along with aging time were compared between base asphalt and modified asphalt.Based on parameter of softening point,aging kinetics model was established to show aging condition of two asphalts and to calculate activation energies.The results indicated that activation energy of crumb tire rubber modified asphalt was higher than that of base asphat.This improved the anti-aging properties were improved.At last,the aging mechanism of two asphalts was discussed.

48 New Process for Synthesis of 2-Methylallylidene Diacetate

2-Methylallylidene diacetate(DMA) has been synthesized from methacrolein(MAL) and acetic anhydride using strongly acidic cation-exchanger resin as catalyst.The effect of amount of the catalyst,molar ratio of raw materials,reaction temperature and reaction time on the reaction were observed,the optimum conditions were n((CH_3CO)_2O)∶n(MAL)=1.2∶1.0,amount of strong acidic cation-exchanger resin 2.0 g(per molar MAL),reaction temperature(-10 ℃) and reaction time 5 h.Under these conditions,the conversion of MAL was 95.5%,the selectivity and yield of DMA were 95.7% and 91.4%.The structure of product was identified by IR,the IR spectra of the product agreed with the standard IR spectra of DMA.

52 Application of Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithm in the Optimization of Reactive Distillation

Reactive distillation is a process combining chemical reaction with distillation separation.It has attracted many researchers and has been used widely for the virtues of high selectivity,low capital investment and little energy consumption.In this article,artificial neural network(ANN) model was presented to simulate reactive distillation.A lot of data were produced by ASPEN to make up the shortage of experimental data when setting up the ANN models.In company with the ANN models,the multi-objective genetic algorithm was used to optimize the process of reactive distillation.Results show that the proposed method is feasible and has high precision.Reactive distillation for synthesizing ethyl acetate was taken as an example to demonstrate the proposed simulation and optimization methods.

56 Molecular Dynamics Simulation of Infinite Dilute Diffusion Coefficients of Solute in Supercritical CO_2

The self-diffusion coefficients of supercritical carbon dioxide and infinite dilute diffusion coefficients of methanol and ethanol in supercritical carbon dioxide were investigated by molecular dynamics simulation.It was shown that the spherical model could be used to characterize the diffusion property of supercritical carbon dioxide correctly.The calculation results of infinite dilute diffusion coefficients showed good agreements with experimental values.This new method can be used to predict the diffusion property of supercritical systems effectively and be used for engineering design extensively.Therefore,as an advanced research methods,molecular dynamics simulation will be used more widely.

61 In-Situ Venting Remediation of Light Oil Polluted Surface Soil

A place located in Binhai District of Tianjin City was chosen as pilot venting experiment location to research the feasibility of pilot in-situ venting method applied to typical soil in Binhai area.The capabilities of site venting and extraction of site experiment were analyzed.In this paper,n-hexane,as a typical substance of light petroleum,was chosen to be the model contamination.During the extraction process,concentration of n-hexane emitted was detected to study the effect of removing light petroleum waste by using pilot in-situ venting system.According to the result,the concentration of n-hexane during extraction was decreased from 452.04 mg/m~3 to 6.28 mg/m~3 by 89 h venting,with a long tailing stage.The results show that in-situ venting method works well on this kind of soil.

Airlift loop reactors(ALRs) have been widely used in industry,so the investigation of ALRs is very important for their design and scale-up.The effects of operating conditions,such as superficial gas velocity,liquid properties,system pressure,reactor size,on the behavior of ALRs were discussed and the measuring methods for the reactor behavior were introduced,also their deficiency was pointed out.The mathematical models of flow behavior,mixing and mass transfer in ALRs were reviewed.

4-tert-butyl-pyrocatechol is one of important organic substance.In this paper,progress in the synthesis process for 4-tert-butyl-pyrocatechol was introduced.Catalysts in three synthesis routes,the hydroxylation of 4-tert-butyl-phenol,the alkylation of pyrocatechol by tert-butyl alcohol and the alkylation of pyrocatechol by isobutene,were discussed in detail in terms of reaction conditions,catalysts,temperature,reaction time etc.At the same time green chemistry technique of the hydroxylation of 4-tert-butyl-pyrocatechol is the research focus in future.

Conjugated Schiff bases have a potential possibility in producing microwave absorbing materials because of its adjustable electrical conductivity.The conductive mechanism of conductive polymers and the development of conductivity of Schiff bases were introduced.The most effective method of iodine-doping to improve the conductivity and the possible means to obtain a high conductivity of conjugated poly-Schiff bases were proposed.Finally,the possibility of conjugated poly-Schiff bases as a candidate of microwave absorbing materials was analyzed and the development prospect was previewed.

92 Reduction of Intermediate with Halogen Substituent

In the reduction of six kinds of intermediate with halogen substituents,reductions by Fe and hydrogenation were used,and the results were compared and analyzed.For most reduction reactions concerned,dehalogenation occurred seriously in hydrogenation reaction.Better selectivity was achieved and purer products were prepared in the reduction by Fe.So,reduction by Fe is significant for industrial processes.
