Abstract The catalysts for selective conversion of high n-alkanes into their branched isomers were introduced,particularly the mesoporous materials.With the development of mesoporous materials,many kinds of mesoporous materials with different components and structures were synthesized by different cooperative assembly pathway and at different synthesizing conditions. The ordered mesoporous catalysts were modified,and were testified with good activity and selectivity for selective conversion of high n-alkanes into their branched isomers.Some of the results have been applied in the oil refining and petrochemical industries.
