Preparation and Properties of Hydrophilic Polyurethane Pressure Sensitive Adhesives for Skin
LI Jun, GONG Zhi-chao, DENG Lian-dong, DONG An-jie
To overcome the shortcomings of the nature rubber pressure sensitive adhesives(PSAs) used in the present transdermal drug delivery systems(TDDs) of traditional Chinese medicine, the preparation and characteristic of hydrophilic polyurethane pressure sensitive adhesives(HPPSAs) were studied. The HPPSAs were synthesized by the condensation copolymerization of polymer glycol, diisocyanate and extender. Especially, polyethylene glycol(PEG) on the main chain of the polyurethane can offer good hydrophilicity. The experiment results indicated that the HPSAs synthesized in this paper could provide excellent adhesive strength and repeating sticking properties, and also good compatibility with drug and skin, which can promote drug releasing property.

Influence of CaO on Naphthalene Conversion in Nickel-Based Catalyst
LI Zeng-xi~1,JIAO Ming-shu~
The catalysts of Ni/Al_2O_3 and Ni-Ca/Al_2O_3 were prepared respectively by impregnation and co-impregnation. The effect of CaO incorporation on the conversion of naphthalene, yields and selectivities of H_2,CO, had been investigated. The difference of the ratio of H_2/CO, the carbon deposit and the amount of the organic by-products between the catalysts Ni-Ca/Al_2O_3 and Ni/Al_2O_3 had been compared. It had been confirmed that adding the CaO not only improve the conversion of naphthalene and the yields of H_2, CO, but also increase the selectivities of H_2,CO_2, nevertheless decrease the selectivity of CO. It is also found that the catalyst with CaO can improve the ratio of H_2/CO and decrease the carbon deposit, but do not affect the sort of the by-products and the content of the benzene.

Advance in Preparation of Biodegradable Nanoparticles
ZHANG Shuang-nan, XU Xiao-qiu, LI Jing-qing, CHANG Jin
As a new drug delivery and controlled release device, biodegradable polymeric nanoparticles appear to be very promising and have been widely studied. Nanoparticles have more advantages over the microparticles, such as lowering toxicity, shielding odor and controlling release of drug effectively.Due to their subcellular size, nanoparticles can be absorbed by the cells through the tissue matrix and penetrate into the arterial wall without causing trauma, and even be able to cross the blood-brain barrier(BBB). This review emphasizes to introduce the manufacturing techniques of biodegradable nanoparticles and their influence factors.

Removal of Persistent Organic Pollutants in Wastewater by Electrochemical Oxidation Technology
LI Tian-cheng, PIAO Xiang-lan, ZHU Shen-lin
There are small amount of persistent organic pollutants existed in water systems, and this does great harm to human beings and biology. It is necessary to remove these materials immediately. However,it is no use for the common water treatment technologies. As some new semi-conductor electrodes doped with additives were prepared, the electrochemical oxidation technology may efficiently oxidize persistent organic pollutants into CO_2 and H_2O under normal temperature and pressure thoroughly, and there are no extra pollutions produced. In this article, the developments of electrochemical oxidation technology on treating persistent organic pollutants were discussed, meantime, the electrochemical oxidation mechanisms and all kinds of influential factors were introduced, and the emphasis was placed on the structures and properties of electrodes.

Application of PSRK Equation of State to Predicting Vapor-Liquid Equilibria at High Pressures
GAO Xiao-lin, LI Zhi-jian, LI Min
To predict the vapor-liquid equilibria at high pressures, a group contribution equation of state called PSRK was proposed, wherein the excess Gibbs free energy mixing rule and the UNIFAC model were combined with SRK equation of state. PSRK equation of state was applied to predicting the vapor-liquid equilibria of five binary systems at different temperatures and pressures, the relative average deviations of the experimentally determined vapor pressure and vapor molar faction with calculated results were 2.16% and 1.01%, respectively. The comparision of the results showed that the PSRK equation of state can be successfully used to predict vapor-liquid equilibria at high pressures, and its accuracy was slightly higher than that of the MHV1 and MHV2 model.
