Abstract Fluoropolymer emulsions may acquire extensive application in high weather-resistance coating and special properties paints because of its excellent surface properties,weatherability and environment friendship.The preparation methods and materials such as (fluoro-monomer) and fluorosurfactants of fluoropolymer emulsion were reviewed.The relationship between structure and properties of fluoropolymer emulsion was discussed.The key study work of fluoropolymer emulsion was pointed out.
