0 Biomolecular Self-assembling Materials

Research on self assembling biomolecular materials is an exciting new discipline lying at the intersection of molecular biology,the physical sciences and materals engineering.In this paper,the concept and characteristic of biomolecular self assembling materials were described.The development of complex fluids and liquid crystals,surfactant based self assembly,polymers and molecular thin films and their contribution to the control of modern materials synthesis and processes were addressed.

0 Research on the Simulation of Adsorption Process

Computer simulation,a new research method introduced in the research of adsorption process,was briefly described.The adsorption of ammonia on carbon particles was simulated with a Monte Carlo method to make the calculated result more close to the real process.Results consistent with that of the real process was gotten.

0 Evaluation of the Heat Transfer Parameters for Fixed Beds The Length Dependence of Heat Transfer Parameters

This paper presents experimental investigations on the heat transfer parameters for fixed beds.Analyses show that the length dependence of heat transfer parameters reflects the failure of two dimensional homogeneous model in predicting the temperature distribution in the thermal inlet section of the bed,and can not be compensated for by introducing axial conductive term into the model or by taking the inlet boundary condition of parabola type.The axial conductive term makes no contribution to the evaluation of heat transfer parameters or to the prediction of temperature profiles in fixed beds.So the PF model is superior to the ADPF model for simplicity in calculation.These conclusions suggest that the reliable heat transfer parameters must be obtained by taking asymptotic values among those under different bed lengths.

0 Study on Microbial Electrode for Real Time Monitoring Used in Wastewater Biotreatment Engineering(Ⅰ) ——Choice of Dominat Enzyme and Progresses of Aerobic Biotreatment

In this paper,a new type microbial electrode by immobilizing the microbiomass,which is used to detect the activity of the microbiomass in wastewater biotreatment,has mainly been studied.Submit an origiral idea,based on which,the activity of the dominant enzyme was used to represent the whole microbia's activity.The existence and species of the dominant enzyme in the microbial living in different kinds of wastewater were certified based on research in areobic microbial film,and it was also found that the activity of the dominant enzyme changed,as soon as its living environment had been changed.The relationship between the volumetic load removal capacity and the acivity of electrode has been investigated.The results show the feasibility of using microbial electrode in wastewater biotreatment engineering.

0 Study on the Synthesis of Water Absorbent Polyacrylamide by Inverse Suspension Polymerization

A high water absorbent polyacrylamide was obtained by inverse suspension polymerization using Span60 as dispersion agent.The conditions of alkaline hydrolysis have great effects on water absorbency.The average diameter of the bead products in 290 μm,the deionized water absorbability and mineral absorbability were 220 and 180,respectively.

A new shllow spouted bed with multi gas inlets used in particles' coating is introduced here.The distribution of gas inlets and reacting gas in the spouted bed is investigated.The uniformity of coating layer and distribution of particles' diameter are increased by controlling reacting zone.

0 The Application of Generalized Predictive Control in the Production of Vitamin C

According to the process technology of vitamin C production and the requirements of its control,an implicit algorithm of self tuning generalized predictive control and its corresponding set of program were developed and put into use.The time delay characteristic of the production process was taken into accout,the output predictive error weighting matrix was introduced into the cost function,and hence can be solved satisfactorily the control problem of the vitamin C production process which was characteristic of long time delay and slow time varying.

Separation process of hexane methylcyclopentane with extractive distillation method was simulated by computer,and a tentative experiment was did with the help of the caluclated rdsuts.There is a good agreement between the calculated results and the experimental data.

0 Synthesis of N,N′-bis(trimethyl silyl)urea

The synthesis of N,N′ bis(trimethyl silyl)urea from trimethyl chlorosilane was mainly discussed.The reaction parameters including catalysts,temperature and molar ratio were optimized.Under the optimum condition,the yield of N,N′ bis(trimethylsilyl)urea was 57% on the basis of trimethyl chlorosilane.

0 Study on Stabilization of Monocrotophos Emulsifiable Concentrate Stored in a Thermal Condition

The decomposition value of monocrotophos stored in a thermostat at 54℃ is 18 94% when the solvent of monocrotophos formulation consists ethanol.However when the solvent is isopropyl alcohol or non polar solvent the decomposition value of monocrotophos is about 5% in the same condition.

0 Research Advances in Reversed Micellar Extraction Equipment

This article reviews the research advances in the extractors for the reversed micellar separation of proteins.In accordance with the operation modes and contactor configuration,these contractors are categorized into membrane based extractors,centrifuge extractors,mixer settler and column extractors.The advantages and disadvantages of each type of the extractors are discussed.It is pointed out that further fundamental studies on the extractors are necessary,and novel extractors suitable for reversed micellar separation of protein should be developed.
