3 Determination of Solvent Extraction Equilibrium for Molybdenum

n the paper,a set of apparatus used to determine the solvent extraction equilibrium was designed and established. Tributylphosphate was selected as solvent, and cyclohexane as diluent.The solvent extraction equilibria of Mo were determined systematically.The effects of different conditions on extraction equilibrium were studied and examined to provide some basis for industrial process design and engineering optimization.

8 The Effect of Flame—Retardant System to Fire—Proof Performance of Intumescent  Coatings

y orthogonal experiment method,intumescent flame-retarnant system which affects the retardance performance of the coatings was investigated systematically.Several components,such as ammonium polyphosphate (APP),melamine (MEL),pentaerythritol (PE),701 amino resin (701A) and chlorinated paraffin (CP),which affect the physicalchemical properties and fire-proof performance of the coatings markedly have been selected to investigate the effect of each factor and their interactions on fire-proof performance of the coatings.Considering the optimal formulations created,several experiments have been carried out in order to verify the validity of the formulations and the product has been produced in pilot plant and in industry.The result based on the big panel combustion method showed that the coatings meets the National Standard of the fire retardance for first-class products.

14 The Synthesis of Trimethylolpropane

he synthesis of trimethylolpropane from nbutanal and formaldehyde with NaOH catalyst via one step method was studied in this thesis.The aldol condensation product during low temperature period of one step method synthesis was separated and analyzed with 1HNMR and GCMS.It's proved that the separated product is 2,2-dihydroxymethylbutanal,which is unstable and can be converted to its dimer and trimer.The influences of the type of catalysts,the second period reaction temperature and time,the formaldehyde concentration and the treatment method after reaction on the yield of TMP were discussed.The purity of TMP was analyzed by GC.A potential synthesis method of TMP was set up.

19 The Synthesis of Dimethyl Carbonate by Transesterification

imethyl carbonate has been synthesized by transesterification of methanol with propylene carbonate using CHS—1 and CHS—2 as catalysts.The effect of amount of catalyst and weight ratios of methanol to propylene carbonate et al.on the yield of transesterification have been studied.The experimental results showed that the optimum conditions are:the amount of catalyst 0.4%~0.5%,weight ratio of methanol to propylene carbonate 8~10 and reaction time 40~60 minutes.This process of transesterification by reactive distillation is of value in industrial production.

24 The Synthesis of 2,4,6-Tribromophenyl Acrylate

he synthesis method of 2,4,6-tribromophenyl acrylate with 2,4,6-tribromophenol,acrylic acid and phosphorus trichloride as raw materials are studied.By orthogonal tests and single factor optimization,the proper technological conditions are determined.The results of analysis and assay show that the expected product is obtained.The values of melting point,refractive index,bromine content,molecular weight,molecular constitution and fineness of product are also given.

ollowing the brief introduction of the present state of pervaporation,in this paper,the new progress of separation of dilute organic aqueous solutions by pervaporation was reviewed emphatically,and the development and studies of the organophilic or hydrophobic membranes and the analyses of the effect of the process parameters on flux and selectivity were summarized systemtically.At last,the application prospects of organic pervaporation process were discussed.

inary vapor liquid equilibrium data of tertpentanol—isobutanol at atmospheric pressure are measured and correlated by MH81 equation of state.The calculated values are in good agreement with the experimental result.The data obtained are thermodynamically consistent.

42 Preparation of a New Scale Inhibitor-Antiprecipitantand It's Scale Inhibiting Efficiency

crylic Acid/Acrylamine copolymer adding single or mixed organic complexants was prepared in order to improve the behavior of the copolymer in water treatment specially in inhibiting scale and antiprecipitating. The conditions of reaction and operating process were studied. IR, solid contents and characteristic viscosities of the products were determined. The results in a simulated evaporative test indicated that the percentage of scale (as Ca2+) inhibition is 966~978 when 12ppm(real solid)AA/AM copolymer adding mixed organic complexants was used.

48 AC Type Membrane Coated Unit and Its Controlled Release Character

 new AC type membranecoated unit was prepared. The coating solution composition and the number of layers of the membrane were changed to prepare different kinds of AC type controlled release unit, then controlled release experiments were carried out and theoretical analysis was made. It is proved that AC type membranecoated unit has a good controlled release character and its controlled release character may be adjusted by the content of ARW in the coating solution and the number of membrane layers.

52 Study on Synthesis of 2-Amino-Naphthalene-6,8-Disulfonic Acid

?-Amino-naphthalene-6,8-disulfonic acid has been synthesized by amination of 2-naphthol-6,8-disulfonic acid dipotassium salt at relatively low temperature(140℃)and low pressure(1-4MPa)with a yield about 100%. The factors which can affect the reaction have been investigated. It is found that while the reaction temperature, the amount of ammonia or NaHSO_3, the ratio of ammonia to 2-naphthol-6,8-disulfonic acid dipotassium salt and the concentration of ammonia increase, the reaction rate becomes faster.

56 Determination of Cobalt and Manganesein Oxide Sediment TA

n this paper, determination of cobalt and manganese in oxide sediment TA has been investigated. A method employing strong basic anion exchange polymer to separate cobalt and manganese in oxide sediment TA, and then determine them using EDTA complexometric titration was established. The method has been applied to treat real samples with satisfactory results.

his article appraises the quatity of the typical imported crude oil in Refinery of Tianjin Petrochemical Co., explores the output rate and quality of products from the mixture of the imported and Dagang crude oil, and points out the problems existing and the future processing way of the imported crude oil.
