Study on Inverse Emulsion Copolymerization of Acrylamide——Increasing the Molecular weight of Polymer and the Solid Content of Latexes

Using SPAN as the emulsifier, inverse emulsion copolymerization of acrylamide—acrylate (sodium, potassium and ammonium salt) was investigated. Some factors which affect the intrinsic viscosity [η] of copolymers have been studied. These factors iaclude the purifying method of acrylamide, total comonomer concentration, initiator varieties and so on. A method of azeotropie distillation in vacuum was examined for concentrating the latexes obtained. After concentration, the polymed content in the latexes reached 47%.

Investigation on Curing of Polyester Containing Hydroxy and Carboxy Groups with Blocked Isocyanate
Chea Weijun Yao Kangde
Deblocking kinetics of toluene diisocyaaate trimer blocked with ε-caprolactam was studied via dynamic thermogravimetric analyse. The inluence of polyester containing hydroxy and carboxy groups on kinetic parameter was estimated as well. Combined with data from differential scanning calorimetry, mechanismon deblocking and curing reaction was put forward.
