Study on the Microemulsion Employed Span80 and Tween60 as Mixed-Surfactants

The formation of the microemulsion employed Span80 and Tween60 as mixed surfactants was studied.It was investigated by way of electric conductivity that the maximum content of water in the w/o microemulsion is affected by many kinds of factors.The appropriate formed condition of the microemulsion was found.Then the relationship between diameter of “water pool” and content of water in the w/o microemulsion was analysed with a DLS measurement.

An Inverstigation in Factors Affecting on the Global Average Gas Hold-up in Up-Jet Reactor

Demanded by the technology of sulfonating reaction with SO 3,a new type up jet loop reactor(JLR) with multi ejector was designed.The effect of apparent velocity of gas,power dissipation,static liquid height and the structure of the two phase ejetors on the global average gas hold up was investigaaated experimentally.Based on the experimental data,the relational expression of the gas hold up with parameters has been obtained.It was proved that the structure of the ejectors distributed evenly performs better.

The Molecular Weight of Styrene Modified Alkyd

The molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of styrene modified alkyd were obtained by GPC.The performance parameters of the styrene modified alkyd and its varnish were determined.The effects of the molecular weight on the resin and the effects of the molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of the resin were discussed.

The Performance of a New Type Packing for Gas-Liquid System

The performance of hydrodynamics and mass transfer of United Ring (UR) for gasliquid system were studied experimentally and the correlation for pressure drop was made.It is shown from the resuls that the United Ring has distinguished advantages such as large capacity,low pressure drop and high mass transfer efficiency etc.It is hopeful of replacement of the traditional packings such as Pall Ring,Intalox etc.

Study on Electrolyte Additives of Lead-Acid Batteries

In this paper the effects of the additives added into the electrolyte of the lead acid battery on the battery performances were studied.By measuring the discharge capacity,the ability of battery to accept charging capacity,the polarization curve and charge maintenance,a comparison of the performances of the battery is made between the cases in the presence of additive E and additive F and without the additive in the electrolyte.The results demonstrate that when additive E and additive F are added into the electrolyte,the ability of battery to accepting charge is greatly improved especially under the low temperature condition.In the meanwhile,the over potential of the negative electrode evolving hydrogen is enhanced,hence the self charge of the battery in the storage process is lowered.

Synthesis of Dichloro Phosphorspirol and Intumescent Flame-Retardant(IFR)

Dichloro phosphorspirol and it′s melamine salt have been synthesized using phosphorus oxychloride (POCl 3),pentaerythritol(PEL) and melamine(MEL) as materials.The influence of reaction temperature,reacting time,and the mode of raw material feeding have been inspected and the optimal technological parameters have been confirmed.The results obtained above will provide valid evidence for the commercial production of intumescent flame retardant(IFR).

Progress on stirred mixing of gas liquid particle three phase system was reviewed.The mixing characteristics such as power consumption,gas hold up and critical speed were summarized.These characteristics were influenced by structure factors (impeller type,baffle configuration and gas sparger),operational factors(rotational speed,gas rate and particle fraction) and property factors(particle diameter and density),etc.

Selecting for Solvent and Equipment to Separate Furfural from Improved Sulfuric Acid Catalytic Method

The extraction technology has been used to separate furfural produced from straw with the improved sulfuric acid catalytic method.The extractive effect and physical character of different organic solvents have been compared.From the operational lines we will know that the order of extractive rate is:trichlormethane>1,2 dichloroethane>trichloroethylene>dichloromethane>ethyl acetate>carbon tetrachloride.It has selected the extracting flow and equipment of three grades alternate flow.

Study on the Graft Copolymerization of Starch and Methyl Acrylate in the CH_3OH-H_2O Solution

Graft copolymerization of methylacrylate onto starch has been carried out in methanol solution using ammonium persulfate as initiator.The viscasity average molecular weight of the grafted branches,the graft efficiency and freqency and the microstructure and the mechanical properties of the copolymer have been measured.
