Abstract Two Pd/γ-Al_2O_3 catalysts were reduced by H_2 and KBH_4 respectively and their catalytic activities in anthraquinone hydrogenation to produce H_2O_2 were introduced.Results indicated the catalyst reduced by KBH_4 showed higher activity and longer service life than that reduced by H_2. Surface analysis of the two catalysts was carried out.
