Treatment of Polysilicon Organic Wastewater by Inside-circle Coupling Technology of Fe/C Micro-electrolysis and H2O2

Abstract In order to solve the problems such as filler hardening and low efficiency of Fe/C micro-electrolysis, the internal circulation was added to prevent the device from clogging. Coupling technology of Fe/C micro-electrolysis and H2O2 was applied to polysilicon organic wastewater, and the effects of technological conditions such as dosing quantity of iron-carbon, initial pH, dosing quantity of H2O2, reaction time on removal efficiency of COD were mainly investigated, respectively. Moreover, the reaction conditions have been optimized by response surface method. The results indicate that the influence level of factors on removal treatment efficiency was:Fe/C micro-electrolysis, reaction time, dosing quantity of H2O2 and initial pH value. The optimum technological conditions for reaction were:dosing quantity of iron-carbon 250 g·L-1, initial pH value 2.8, dosing quantity of H2O2 112 mL·L-1, reaction time 83 min. Under this reaction conditions, the removal rate of COD reached 71.26%. The kinetic regression equation of COD by coupling Fe/C micro-electrolysis and H2O2 was Y=0.5273X-0.6347, and the degradation rate constant was 0.527 3 min-1.
