Abstractα-Octo-Butoxy phthalocyanin cobalt (CoPc) and α-octo-butoxy phthalocyanin copper (CuPc) were loaded on mesoporous molecular sieves SBA-15 by impregnation to obtain CoPc/SBA-15 and CuPc/SBA-15 catalysts. UV-Vis absorption spectra, infrared spectra (IR), N2 adsorption were used to characterize the target product. The experimental results indicated that both CoPc/SBA-15 and CuPc/SBA-15 exhibited good catalytic properties, the conversion rate of CuPc/SBA-15 to mercaptoethanol was greater than that of CoPc/SBA-15 to mercaptoethanol. The catalyst showed excellent activity in the reaction with kinetic characteristic of peroxidase. The reaction conformed with Michaelis kinetic equation. The Michaelis constant and maximum reaction rate were 27.23 mmol/L and 1.72×10-4 L/min, respectively, and the activation energy of the CuPc/SBA-15 calculated was 29.17 kJ/mol.
