Preparation and Evaluation of Plugging Control System Based on Oily Sludge from Shengli Gudong Oilfield

Abstract In order to realize the resource utilization of oily sludge, the oily sludge of Shengli Gudong Oilfield was taken as the research object. Firstly, the composition and particle size analyses of oily sludge were analyzed, and then the suspension agent, the ratio of oilfield sewage to oily sludge, and the concentration of crosslinking agent were optimized. Finally, the optimal formula of plugging control system based on oily sludge was determined, and its application performance was studied. The experimental results showed that the plugging control system was prepared by 0.3% suspending agent+the ratio of oilfield sewage to oily sludge (1:1—3:1)+0.3% crosslinking agent with gel time of 22—28 h. And the aging resistance was good as the viscosity retention rate was more than 91% at 60 ℃ for 180 days. The indoor core experiments showed that the plugging rate reached over 94%, the breakthrough pressure was above 6.2 MPa after plugging. After 50 PV salt water washing, the blocking rate could still be more than 92%, indicating that the plugging control system had good plugging performance and anti-washing performance. The plugging technology not only helps to solve the pollution problem of oily sludge, but also realizes the recycling of oily sludge.
