A Study on Hydrodynamic and Mass Transfer Performances of TGJ Plastic Packing

The hydrodynamic and mass transfer performances of TGJ plastic packing are studied in a φ600mm ID tower with air-NH_3-H_2O system. The geometric characteristics, the factors of flooding point, the factors of pressure drop and mass transfer coefficients of the tower packing are obtained. The results show that the packing has the advantages of great flux,lower pressure drop, uniform gas-lipuid distribution, non-blinding and excellet mass transfer performance.

Isothermal Vapor-Liquid Equilibrium for Ethanol-n-Butyl Acetate Binary System

Isothermal VLE data for ethanol-n-butyl acetate binary systerm at30.0℃,40.0℃,45.0℃ have been determined by using the method of head space chromatography,Thermodynamic consistency of T-x-y data in the present work has been tested by means of the Herington method and has satisfied the requirement.The parameters of NRTL model for this binary system in the range of 30.0～80.0℃,expressed as function of the temperature, have been optimized by simplex method.

Prediction of Vapor-Liquid Equilibria for System of Toluene-Benzaldehyde-Benzoic Acid by UNIFAC

In this work, UNIFAC group interaction parameters, (a_(CHO) ,COOH,a_(COOH),CHO);(a_(AcCH_2),CHO、a_(CHC),AcCH_2);(a_(Ac CH_2,COOH、aCOOE,AcCH_2),have been modified and supplemented, VLE of the binary systems of toluene-benzaldehyde, benzaldehyde-benzoic acid and toluene benzoic acid are calculated and the VLE of the ternary system is predicted by these pa rameters. The result is satisfactory.

The AppLication and Measurement of Infinite Dilution Activity Coefficients

In this paper we firstly reviewed the applications and experimental measurement methods of infinite dilution activity coefficients.Then the infinite dilution activity coefficients for 53 systems were measured by gas chrolnatographic method. Finally, discussions were given according to the experimental results.

The Synthesis of Lactates by Using Modified HZSM-5 as Catalyst

kinds of lactates were prepare 1 by using modified HZSM-5 as catalyst. Reaction parameters were discussed. The yield of lactates is about 90%.

Flow boiling heat transfer and critical heat flux in internal heatin swirl-flow thermosyphon were investigated in this paper. Methods for calcu lating boiling heat transfer with and without bypassing stream were presented and tested by experiments.
