Abstract Isothermal VLE data for ethanol-n-butyl acetate binary systerm at30.0℃,40.0℃,45.0℃ have been determined by using the method of head space chromatography,Thermodynamic consistency of T-x-y data in the present work has been tested by means of the Herington method and has satisfied the requirement.The parameters of NRTL model for this binary system in the range of 30.0~80.0℃,expressed as function of the temperature, have been optimized by simplex method.
