3 The Effects of Fe 3+ ,Al 3+ and Mg 2+ on the Crystal Habits of Gypsum

The effects of Fe 3+ ,Al 3+ and Mg 2+ on the crystal habits of gypsum in wet phosphoric acid in the absence of F - were studied in a continous MSMPR crystallizer.The results of the experiments showed that the crystals of Gypsum were of meedle shape no matter whether the free excess of SO 2- 4 was 2 4% or 4 8%.When the concentrations of SO 2- 4 and the other two corresponding impurities were kept constant,the crystal length of gypsum increased with the increase of Fe 3+ content;the crystal size of gypsum decreased with the increase of Mg 2+ content and increased with the increase of Al 3+ content.The presence of F - and Al 3+ would promote the formation of aggregating crystal.

8 Analysis of Dynamics of Depressurization for Adsorbent Bed

The equations for calculating the instantaneous pressures and flow rates of desorption gases during depressurization of fixed adsorbent beds have been established by material balance basing on the pressure drop of fluid flowing through a fixed beds. The results are very proximate to the practice and coincide with those of B D Crittenden et al. too.

13 The Modification of Polyethylene——Graft Polymerization of Acrylic Acid onto Polyethglene and Its Characterization

The graft copolymerization of acrylic acid (AA) onto low density polyethylene(LDPE) with benzoyle peroxide (BPO) as initiator in anhydrous xylene was studied. The influence factors, such as reaction temperature and the concentrations of AA and BPO, on the extent of grafting were discussed. The existence of graft copolymer was verified by infrared spectra (IR), X ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), thin layer chromatography (TLC) and contact angle. The sodium salt of graft copolymer was prepared.

19 Mass Transfer Characteristic of Oxygen in Liquid in Three-phase Stirred Vessels

This article presents the influences of suspenson concentration, gas volume in liquid and power consumption on gas liquid mass transfer characteristic for low viscosity system using a new type axial impeller (K 4), 45°pitched blade disk turbine (pumping down and up) and disk turbine (DT) respectively in three phase stirred vessels, It is concluded that: K 1a∝(P g/V) k ; and if the apparent viscosity of suspension changes little due to the suspension concentration, the presence of solid makes the volumetric mass transfer coefficient K 1a increase, and K 1a is enhanced with the increasing of gas volume, Because the new type axial impeller (K 4) produces higher axial dispersion and mixing, the K 1a value keeps higher in same power consumption.

41 Vapor-Liquid Equilibrium of Glycine and DL-Alanine in Methanol Water Solutions

The vapor-liquid equilibrium data of glycine and DL-alanine in methanol water solutions were measured with modified Roes still at 333.15K and 338.15K.The activity coefficients and the interaction parameters between the amino acid and solvents molecules at every binary composition were calculated.Both the interactions between the particles in solutions and the effect on the structure of mixed solvents with the addition of amino acids were explored.Some valualbe conclutions were obtained.

45 STUDY ON PREPARATION OF OXALIC ACID BY ACIDOLYSIS OF OXACALCITE

In the prepration of oxalic acid by calcification method, the main reaction is the acidolysis of oxacalcite by sulphuric acid. The phase diagram of SO 2- 4-Ca 2+ were determined by experiments,thus the crystal area and spontaneous nucleation area of CaSO 4·2H 2O were found.Using mathematical model to direct feeding of raw material we can get rather ideal crystal grain,and the filtering rate achieved is as high as 0 75m 3/m 2·min.

51 The Coupling of Pervaporation and Chemical Reaction

Pervaporation is a membrane separation process which can be used to fractionate liquid mixture.The dehydration of organic solvent or the separation of organic—organic mixture by pervapo ration appears to be the most feasible application.Pervaporation is a promising technique for the removal of part of or all products in chemical reaction system.With the aid of pervaporation,the conversion of reactants in an equlibrated reaction may cirumvent the equilibrated conversion.The coupling of an equilibrated reaction with pervaporation is an alternative way to reach complete conversion of reactants.

56 Optimumization of the Equipment and Technology of Cuprammonia Washing

The mechanisms of mass transter and reaction in the cuprammonia scrubber are studied in this paper.By using chemical simulation method and reaction kinetics principle,optimumization of The temperature distribution and the cuprammonia composition control have been performed.The technological charateristics and application advantages of stucture packing are expounded.The results of the simulation and application showed that the technology and equipment of cuprammonia scrupper have been optimized,and economical benefit is achieved by revamping using structure packing with appropriate composite technique.

62 Quantitative Analysis of Salithion by Gas Chromatography

The quantitative analytical method for salithion by a wide bore capillary column has been studied.The optimum gas chromatographic conditions were as follows.Column:fused silica,HP 1 (cross linked methy1 silicone) 10m×0 53mm×2 65μm film;column temperature:150℃;injector and detector temperature:200℃;carrier gas:H 2 15mL/min Di n propy1 phthalate was used as the internal standard.The analytical method for salithion gives better accuracy and precision.
