Abstract Vapor-liquid equilibria(VLE) data of dimethyl carbonate(DMC)(1)-benzyl alcohol(2) system at 101.33 kPa were measured.The thermodynamic consistency of the VLE data was examined by Herrington method.In the meantime,the infinite dilution activity coefficient of dimethyl carbonate and benzyl alcohol and the parameters of activity coefficient of Wilson model were determined with the experimental data.The isothermal vapor-liquid equilibria data at 413.15 K were predicted.
