Abstract Taking the annual production of 40 000 tons of soda ash as an example, the Aspen Plus software is used to simulate the transfer of NaHCO3 slurry and air in a spray drying tower by means of a downward concurrent flow heat transfer to obtain soda powder that meets the requirements. Sensitivity analysis is used to determine the effect of pump pressure, air temperature and feed volume on product temperature, humidity, average diameter and energy consumption, respectively. Then the composite fuzzy control algorithm is added, and the simulation algorithm is proved to be suitable for the promotion of soda powder spray drying control process.
