Effect of Cr on the Thermal Stability and Reduction Behavior of Industrial High Temperature Shift Fe-Cr Catalysts

Five industrial catalysts have been studied by means of thermal analysis(DTA, TG), TPR together with XRD, TEM, SEM and IR. The results indicate that the Cr present in the catalysts, besides ist well known promoting action, on dispersion, specific surface area and stability of structure, can also enhance: its reduction temperature and reduce its rate and total degree of reduction with the result of raising its Fe~(2+)/Fes~(3+) ratio and preventing Fe_3O_4 from over-reduction.The overall effect is higher activity and thermal stability.The kinds of reducing agents(dry H_2, wet H_2,CO and CO-CO_2)and their concentrations and reduction temperatures can affect nobably the reduction behavior, Hydrogen is generally suitable, but the direct use of CO is not, Ruduction property and thermal stability do not directly related to the Fe_2O_3 crystal habit, but depend on, catalyst composition, preparation and strueture. Naturally, diffrent catalysts will have their own proper reduction schedule. All of the above mentioned in formations are obtained by carefully analyzing DTA, TG and TPR data, from which their catalytic properties can be interpereted and predicted to some extent.

Adsorption Separation of Fructose and Glucose Solution via Semi—continuous Thermal Parametric Pumping and Mathematic Model

Fructose-glucose aqueous solution is separated via semi-continuous thermal parametric pumping. The experiment indicates that the technology can be used to separate the sugars continuously and effectively in a simple equipment. When parametric pumping cycles to a certain degree, a limiting separation appears. Reflux ratio, feed concentration and cycling time have effect on the separation.In this paper, we present a mathematic model involving the resistance of mass transfer and solve it numerically by using the method of characteristic line. The algorithm is simple with high calculating speed.The model can agree with the experimental results by introducing into it the modifying factor of mass tramsfer coefficient.

The Application of Gelatin/ polyvinylpyrrolidone Graft Co polymer in the Dye Transfer Blank Film

The use of gelatin/polyvinylpyrrolidone graft copolymcr in the receiving layer of dye-transfer blank film is investigated.It shows that the properties, including wetting Property, dye-tansfer printing property, permeability and clarity of the blank film are improved without harmful influece upon other properties.

Study on Octylphenolic Curing Resin

Octylphenolic curing resin 202 is a new product of curing agent in China. The technical routes of the product the synthetic method, the effects of process conditions on each reaction, the technical specification and the property identification are discussed in detail. It is recognized that resin 202 has more advantages than that of resin 2402(P-tert-butylphenol formaldehyde resin)now generally used. Its technical specification and service properties have reached the international level of its kind.

Study on the Mechanism of Electroless Plating of Ni-P Alloy
GUO He-Tong, LIU Shu-Lan, WANG Jin-Gen
Linear relation between 1/Rp and i of the deposition process of Ni-P alloy electroless plating was obtained through the measurements of linear polarization resistance and deposition rate of the process. Oxidation process of hypophosphite on Ni electrode was studied in more detail with anodic polarization curve method. It was proposed that deposition of Ni-P alloy in electroless plating is proceeded according to the electrochemical mechanism.
