1 Study on New Condensation Reactor and Technology in the Production of Bisphenol A

A new equipment-column type suspension reactor with multiple trays,has been developed for the condensation of phenol with acetone in the production of BPA instead of conventional fixed bed reactor.A flow diagram has been given,in which the new reactor is used to realize the above reaction.Model experiment shows that the new reactor and technology have much more advantages than the conventional method,and have significance for producing polycarbonate grade bisphenol A.

7 The Chemical Synthesis of Conducting Polyaniline

The technological conditions of chemical synthesis of conducting polyaniline were studied.The effect of carbon on yield and conductivity of chemical synthetic polyaniline was also investigated.The composition and structure of polyaniline chemically synthesised was determinded as 1/2-oxide state of polyaniline salt by IR and XPS analysis.This polyaniline has the same structure and conductivity as those of polyaniline electrochemically synthesised.

13 Kinetic Study on the Preparation of Diethyl Oxalate by Vapor Phase Catalytic Coupling Reaction of CO

Kinetic data are measured in fixed bed reactor for the preparation of A power diethyl oxalate by vapor phase catalytic coupling reaction of CO and ethyl nitrite.A power-function type kinetic model is established asthe form where k agrees with Arrhenius equation:k=32.3exp(-2.2x14/RT).

18 The Graft Copolymerization of Starch-Acrylamide

The graft copolymerization of acrylamide onto starch with ceric ammonium nitrate as initiator has been studied.The effects of the reactions parameters,including the amount of inititor and monomer pH reaction temperature and time,were investigated.The effects of different initiation systems were compared.

23 The Progress in the Researches of Pressure Drop and Flooding of Packed Columns

The recent progress in researches of the pressure drop and flooding of packed columns were reviewed.Three methods for correlating the pressure drop and flooding point were concluded.The importance to build a data base were emphasized and some other questions should be solved in this field were pointed out.
