The Effect of Additives on the Curing Behaviour of Epoxy Resin/Anhydride/Imidazole System

The effects of SiO_2, TiO_2 additives on the curing behaviour of epoxy resin (E-51)/methyl tetrahynro o-benzene dicarboxylic (MTHPA)/2-ethyl-4-methyl imidazole(EMI-2,4) were studied by using torsion braid analysis (TBA) teehnigue and DTA. The shear, strength of this curing system was also measured.

The Synthesis Morphology and Rheology of Core/Shell Carboxylic Emulsion

In this paper, the preparation, particle morphology and vheology of poly(styrene)/poly (2-ethylhexy/acrylate-co-acrylic acid)core/shell carboxylic emulsion were investigated. The core/shell carboxylic latices prepared by two stage method are of "inverted" structure, which is not affected by the concentration of initiator and the mixing speed. The effects of the amount of acrylic acid used, the charging method and the ratio of core to shell on the rheology of the emulsion were also investigated. The results have shown that an alkali thickening emulsion can be obtained by dropping the mix edmonomers with gradient content of acrylic acid in the process of reaction.

Filtration Rate and Mechanism for Rotary filter press

In this paper the filtratior rate and mechanism of dynamic rotary filter press were introduced The velocity field, pressure distribution and scaleup were discussed. The factors affecting the filtration rate were also investigated.
