Abstract It is indicated that the industrial containing p aminophinol (PAP) wastewater can be treated effectively by the H 2O 2 Fe 2+ oxidation method.As the wastewater contained 1 6g/L~2 0g/L PAP and the reaction proceed under the conditions of:H 2O 2/PAP=4 0(g/g),the concentration of FeSO 4·7H 2O=1 0g/L.after one hour the total PAP removal effectively is up to 98%~99% and the color degerr is reduced.This treatment method has no severe demand for the temperature and is convenieut for industrial applications.
