Abstract Heat transfer enhancement and fouling prevention have been studied in a vapor liquid solid three phase circulating fluidized bed evaporator.The experimental results show that it has the abilities of enhancing heat transfer,preventing and cleaning fouling.Under the same conditions,its heat transfer coefficient is 1 5��2 0 times greater than two phase flow boiling heat transfer.The heat transfer enhancement and fouling prevention mechanisms were also studied in this paper.
