Abstract The vapor-liquid and liquid-liquid phase Equilibrium data for the partially miscible system of octane-water have been correlated by NRTL Equation with five parameters.The vapor-liquid Equilibrium dat of octane-water was predicted by parameters obtained from liquid-liquid Equilibrium data of the system.The accuracy of the calculation is high enough for the processes design.
