Abstract Using Fe(OH)(HCOO)_2 and Ba(CH_3COO)_2 as the raw material,citrate as the chelate,a homogeneous aqueous solution was obtained.The obtained solution was subjected to spray-drying process,and citrate complex containing Fe and Ba was obtained as the solid-state precursors.The BaFe_(12)O_(19) nanolamellas were prepared from a facile thermal pyrolysis of the solid-state precursors.At the same time,the obtained solid-state precursors were pretreated with paraffin,and then subjected to thermal decomposition to give BaFe_(12)O_(19) nanorods with minor nanolamellas.The solid-state precursors were characterized by IR.The development of the precursors to the products was studied by TG and XRD.Morphology observation of the fibers was given on TEM.
