Abstract Fluid flow is analized and a mathematic model is developed on the basis of the performance data in a loop reactor system employed for bulk propylene polymerization. After the differential equations are solved by computer technique,the parameter profiles,such as solid content,component concentrations, temperature in the reactor,and the cooling water temperature,along the fluid flowing direction are obtained.Results show that the modeling is perfectly suitable to the reactor system performed in Plastics Complex ,Qi Lu Petrochemical Corp.
