Abstract series of composite polymers (PCPU/EP) were synthesized from Polycarbonate Polyurethane (PCPU) and epoxy resin (EP). The reaction mechanism and apparent reaction kinetics of PCPU with EP were studied by means of IR spectrum. It was proved that grafting structure occurs between PCPU and EP. It shows from experimental data that both the impact strength and adhesion shearing strength of PCPU/EP composite appear maximum values as PCPU/EP=10/100. The optimal composite polymer can be designed and prepared through adjusting the ratio of NCO/OH in PCPU and the chemical composition of PCPU/EP. |
