1 The Experimental Investigation on Mass Tranfer Characteristics of Moisture Regain Process in Coal

In this paper, the moisture regain phenomenon of dry coal is investigated experimentally. It’s found that in the rnoisture regain process there are three characteristic stages. The effect of the environmental factors, the size of coal, the initial moisture content and the method of drying on moisture regain process is analyzed.

10 Solid-Liquid Phase Transfer Catalytic Synthesis of Diethylene Glycol Monododecyl Ether
Ban Qing
The effect of catalysts, their quantities and reaction temperatuse on the yield of solid-liquid phase transfer catalyzed synthesis of dietylene glycol monododecyloxy ether have been studied. Some catalysts giving high yields of pure monoether (e. g, TBAB, PEG-400 and PEG-600) have been devoloped. Their suitable quanties applied and temperature of reaction were also determined.

14 Design of a Pilot-Plant for Producing Absolute Acohol by Pervaporation

A plate and frame module for pervaporation has been developed. The pervaporation pilot-plant with effective membrane area 16. 5 m2 has been designed. It is shown that the performances of the pervaporation pilot-plant are stable for producing absolute alcohol of more than 80 tons in one year after it is operated continually for 800 hours.

21 Simulation of High Pressure Carbamate Condenser and Urea-Synthesis Reactor

In this article different thermodynamic models rellated to urea synthesis process are summerized and high pressure carbamate condenser and urea synthesis reactor are simulated. The calulated results are in good agreement with those meassured in practical operation.

31 A Simple Method of Calculating Minimum Fluidization Velocity for Mono-Component Spherical Particles

The minimum fluidization voidage dealing with the Geldartgroup B & D particles can be simply determined by an arbitrary loosing bulk method, which can be used to substitute for the normal fluidization curve method, i. e. minimum fluidization method. Then Ergun equation is employed to calculate the minimum fluidization velocity of particle.

Liquid-liquid equilibrum data of furfural water-trichloroethylene system were measured in an equilibrium still. These data were correlated with UNIQUAC eqution. The separation result of extraction of furfural water was obtained by simulation calculation with a computer.

41 Colour Reaction of 1- (2-Pyridylazo)-2-Naphthol Sulfonic Acid With Cadmium And It's Application

The conditions of colour reaction of cadmium with 1- (2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol-sulfonic acid have been studied. The maximum absorbance of complex is at wave length of 536nm, its apparent molar absorptivty is 2. 9×10 4 L. mol-1 Beer's law is obeyed in the concentration range of 0~50μg/25ml, for cadmium. The common metal ions canbe separated by sulfhydryl cotton fiber with high selectivity. The method has been used to determine microamounts of cadmium in discharged water with satisfactiry results.

The Determination of traces of elements Ca, Mn, P, K, Cr, Co, Ni and Mo etc in depoison Caster dregs using ICP/EChelle Spectrome (American Leeman Labs.) is studied. The relative standard deviation is 4. 96% 10. 30%. The recovery rate is 90. 5%~101. 8%.

In this paper, the controlled release technology is compared with other ordinary methods. The contolled release methods is categorized into physical methods and chemical mehtods. 61 New Foreign Techniques in the Production of γ-butyrolactone and Tetrahydrofuran with Maleic Anhydride
Wang Duoren
New foreign techniques in the synthesis of γ-butyrolactone (γ-BL) and tetahydrofuran (THF) using maleic anhydride as raw materials are described. In these methods,the conversion of meleic anhydride is 100%, purity of γ-BL attained is as high as 99. 5%,and of THF 99. 95%. Uses of the products and the economic profit of manufacture are expunded.
