Abstract The lattice structure and dielectric properties of BSZTO with different atom ratio of Zr to Ti were studied.Well-sintered samples were synthesized at(1 300) ℃ for 2.0 h by ambient atmosphere in conventional ceramicsfabrication technique.The experimental results showed that with the increasing of Zr content in (Ba(Zr_xTi_(1-x))O_3) system, the lattice constant a increased and the tetragonality of crystal decreased,Zr doping also restrained the ion vacancies,which decreased the loss tangent.XRD analysis indicated MPB(morphotropic phase boundary),in which trigonal and tetragonal symmetry coexisted,existed in Ba(Zr_xTi_(1-x))O_3 for x=0.25—0.35.
