Photocatalytic Degradation of Phorate in Wastewater by TiO

Abstract The photocatalytic degradation of phorate in wastewater, which is one of the typical refratory biodegradable and photostable orgaophosphorus pesticides,was studied using TiO 2 partical and loaded TiO 2 on SiO 2 as photocatalysts respectively The results showed that the value of COD was below 200mg/L after the treatment process The effect of pH,anions such as CO 3 2- ,SO 3 2- ,PO 4 2- ,and SO 4 2- on the effciency of the photocatalytic degradation was discussed
