Abstract The liquid-liquid phase equilibrium system in the dehydration of the phenol hydroxylation at 20�� was studied,the extractants were isopropyl ether and 4-methyl-2-pentanone.The phase equilibrium curves of the system were determined by the turbidity and chromatogram method.The ternary phase equilibrium charts showed that the chosen extractants were efficient and practicable.
