Abstract Employing chemical modification to study the relations between proteins' structure,which is very complex,and function has been a focus in biochemistry and molecular biology research.A lot of molecules were synthesized as chemical modifying agents and many kinds of chemical modification were conducted.The brief review of present situation of the chemical modification of protein is given,and suggests that is an important method in producing biochemical drugs.
