Preparation of Nano-Meter X-Zeolite and Its Application in Lead Ion(Ⅱ)Treatment

Abstract Nano-meter X-zeolite has been prepared by hydrothermal synthesis, and it has been characterized by TEM and XRD.The adsorption of lead ion(Ⅱ) by nano-meter X-zeolite has been studied.The effects of the dosage of nano-meter X-zeolite,pH value, time of contaction and the temperature of wastewater on the absorption of Pb(Ⅱ)by nano-meter X-zeolite are analyzed.The results show that the removal ratio was 99.52% in 50 mL wastewater with the lead ion(Ⅱ) concentration of 25 mg/L when the pH value was keeping at 4,stirring for five minutes at 20℃ by adding 0.03 g the nano-meter X-zeolite.The max absorption was over 150 mg/g.Pb(Ⅱ) was absolutely eluted by 1 mol/L HCl solution.The absorption percentage of the recovered nano-meter X-zeolite remained high.The method can be used to treat Pb(Ⅱ) in water.
