Abstract In this article,the plating wastewater containing heavy metal ions was electrolyzed in a novel organic glass reactor which was first designed by the author.On the basis of the experiment,the importance of slecting electrode material was discussed.And the influencing factors,such as pH,the space between eletrodes,electrode coupled manner,on removal rate were studied.The optimum conditions of the experiment have been determined.
