Abstract Tetradecane was used as core material and polymer based nanocomposites were used as wall material.A kind of microcapsules with urea-formaldehyde resin based composites filled with nano-TiO_2 particles in the wall was prepared by in-situ polymerization.ICP,IR and SEM were used to characterize the nanoparticles' quality of wall,and so on.As showed by the test,the mechanical strength and seal properties of microcapsules were improved greatly by adding nanoparticles to the wall of microcapsules.
