Abstract Seal oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acid(PUFA),such as EPA,DPA and DHA,etc.With the method of molecular distillation,the content of PUFA in seal oil was enriched and the satisfing separation results were acquired by controlling suitable conditions including distillation temperature,operating pressure,etc.Under the conditions of feed rate of 80 mL/h,rotor speed of 250 r/min,distillation temperature of 120 ℃,operating pressure of 15 Pa,the sum contents of EPA,DHA and DPA were 54.86% with one step molecular distillation,and the recovery was 92.7%.The composition of fatty acids was tested by GC method.
