Abstract Styrene-butyl acrylate-acrylic acid latex had been prepared with the emulsion polymerization method by use of SDS,SDBS,OP-10 as the emulsifiers.The influence of temperature,the amount of initiator,the amount and the ratio of emulsifiers on the preparation process were discussed.It was found that the latex with lowest amount of coagulation was obtained,when the amount of initiator was 0.5%,the amount of emulsifiers was 4%,SDS��SDBS��OP-10 was 2��1��9,reaction temperature was 80 ���2 �� and the amount of acrylic acid was 2%.
