Abstract A review of recent studies on the flue gas desulfurization using plasma technology was presented,which included the activated plasma technology,the synergistic effect technology on plasma and catalyst.The mechanism and experimental models on the flue gas desulfurization using plasma technology were discussed.The status and the trend of development were described,and the advantages as well as problems to be solved were pointed out.
