Abstract Important steroid intermediate 3-carbonyl-androsterone-4-alkene-17��-acid was synthesized from DHEA by Wittig reaction,hydroboration-oxidation,Oppenauer oxidation and Jone's oxidation in total yield of 23.0%.The structures of products were identified by NMR,MS and IR.
