Abstract High performance diesel hydrodesulfurization (HDS) catalysts were prepared by depositing Co-Mo sulfides on mesoporous SBA-15 molecular sieves.The prepared catalysts were characterized by XRD and BET.The prepared catalysts preserved well-ordered 2D hexagonal structure of SBA-15,the surface area decreased slightly.On fixed bed reactor,the HDS activity of prepared catalysts were evaluated with a straight-run diesel fraction as the feed.Results showed that the maximum HDS activity was observed at Co-Mo(5%,25%),the reaction temperature is(360 ��,) pressure is 4.0 MPa,volume ratio of hydrogen oil is 400.0 and the space velocity is 2.0 h~(-1) (HSV).Under this optimal condition,the maximum desulphurization rate reached 95.55%.
