Abstract By adsorption-desorption experiments,adsorption isotherms of water on corn meal in the presence of ethanol-water vapor mixture were obtained.Because of the interaction between the two components,the equilibrium adsorbing quantity of water for the binary components system was less than that of water with nitrogen carrier gas;the total absorbing quantity of water and ethanol was more sensitive to temperature.The isotherms of water didn't change its shape observably in the presence of ethanol and could be well expressed with Sircar model,GAB model and the potential theory for macro-porous/non-porous media.
