Abstract Li_4Ti_5O_(12) was prepared by solid-state method with different sources of titanium(anatase,rutile,amorphous) and lithium(Li_2CO_3,LiOH·H_2O),the preparation of Li_4Ti_5O_(12) was optimized and Li_4Ti_5O_(12) was characterized.The experimental results showed that Li_4Ti_5O_(12) synthesized with anatase and Li_2CO_3 at 900 ℃ had better performance of lithium intercalation,excellent cyclicity,stable voltage,and higher first discharge capacity.In addition,during the process of Li~+ intercalation and de-intercalation,the crystal form of Li_4Ti_5O_(12) doesn't change.
