Abstract New hypercrosslinked adsorption resins named MAPR modified with aminophenol were synthesized, and characterized by FT-IR, BET and TGA. Then through the experiments of static adsorption at the same temperature, the adsorption capacities of the adsorption resin MAPR toward o-toluidine, o-phthalic acid, p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid, resorcinol and ��-naphthol were determined. The results indicate that the adsorption resin MAPR has better effect on adsorption capacities of acid substances and alkaline substances.
