Abstract

The PVDF superhydrophobic membrane was obtained by coating process, and then it was hydrophilic modified. The membrane superficies structure, contact angle, and other membrane properties were provided. The experimental result indicated that the biggest contact angle of the modified membranes was achieved when the PVDF content was 2%, PG content was 39%, temperature of casting solution was 50℃, vaporization time was 10 s, and temperature of coagulation bath was 60℃. And the result also presented that the least contact angle of the PVDF superhydrophobic/hydrophilic membrane was obtained when the content of nanoparticle TiO2 was 31.5 mg/L. The direct contact membrane distillation (DCMD) result test indicated that the capabilities of inorganic pollution anti-fouling of superhydrophobic membranes were improved in comparison with the original one, and not only the capabilities of inorganic pollution anti-fouling of the superhydrophobic/hydrophilic membrane were improved compared with the original one, but also were the properties of organic pollution anti-fouling of the superhydrophobic/hydrophilic membrane.
