Abstract

Pd-Ag/C catalysts with different atomic ratio were prepared using chemical reduction method. The crystal structure of the catalysts was characterized through XRD technique; the electrocatalytic activity for sodium borohydride electrooxidation was investigated by cyclic voltammetry(CV), chronoamperometry(CA) and other electrochemical methods. The results showed that the Ag dopedwith appropriate amount can not only enhance the catalytic activity of the catalysts, but also make the electron numbers of sodium borohydride electrooxidation increased, especially the Pd75Ag25/C catalyst presents the highest electrocatalytic activity and electron numbers among all the prepared catalysts.
