Abstract The conductive composites were prepared by melt blending with conductive graphite (GP) , polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE). The dispersion of graphite in the two phase matrix and the electrical properties of the composite were investigated. SEM result indicates that the graphite particles are selectively located in the matrix, the doublepercolated networks reduce the percolation threshold and improve the conductivity. Compared with GP /HDPE-PP composite, the volumatic resistivity of composites decreases by 1—4 orders of magnitude at the same filler content.  Meanwhile, the negative temperature coefficient effect is inhibited and the stability of the electrical properties is improved, due to the existence of the double-percolated networks.
